"I booked a suite with one queen bed. We were given a standard room - no explanation as to why. We didn't discover this until we entered the room we were assigned. We had been charged for a much more expensive room. I went back down to the desk and was told that all suites were booked. I showed the desk clerk that i booked a suite and was told to wait 5 minutes while she checked "something". She came back and told me she had a room for us but the toilet needed to be fixed before we could move in. About an hour later, we were moved to a handicap accessible room. It was bigger but i don't think it was the suite that i paid for. This was just the start of a terrible stay. There were huge roaches in the small dining area, our view from the room was a parking lot and a fenced-off area full of wrecked vehicles. The first morning we were there, the hot breakfast was totally eaten by transient workers and never replenished. We had to save and reuse our disposable coffee cups because they ran out and no one was at the desk to ask for more. The price i paid (over $300) for two nights was a rip-off. I DO NOT recommend this hotel."

"Showed up for a reservation and nobody answered the front door had to knock on a door to get someone to come to front desk only to be told that the room we had were not available. I had booked 3 rooms and was left trying to find another place at 11 at night. With no help and no call about the rooms not being available. "

"Do not stay here. The hotel didnt answer the phone number ut said to call to check in. We sat outside for 1.5 hours to try to check in at 11 at night woth our child. Then ince we finally got in the room it was VILE. Blood platters on pillows, hair in beds, filth on everything, mildew all in the bathroom that was in shambles. Towels were placed on the back of the toilet barely folded. The "kitchenette" was broken cabinets at one end of the room. The icing was when our daughter said are those drugs on the floor??? We could not leave fast enough. And yes thete were unknown pills on the floor. Absolutely disgraceful and disgusting. "

"Dilworth Inn was a very unique experience. It is a private, small, quiet hotel with all the amenities one would need. If you like the Texas history or learning about the history of a town, Gonzales is a wonderful place to visit, and the Dilworth is a great stop. "

"There were plenty of things to do at the house, we loved seeing all the different animals! The house was super clean when we arrived. The pool was little bit dirty but overall we had fun and enjoyed time in the sun. "

"Several of us have stayed in Luling for over three years as we search for Missing Person Jason Landry. The staff at Best Western are always kind and accomodating. We love the facilities as well. Getting two free drinks and chips and salsa are a nice bonus each evening."

"The hotel was a gorgeous little piece of history. With historic buildings of course there can sometimes come issues, but when our faucet broke at 11pm on a Friday night the manager was incredibly prompt to respond, send a repairman who also showed up very quickly, and then swapped our rooms when the problem was not easily resolved. Every staff member was incredibly helpful and we will ABSOLUTELY be staying here again. "
