"The stay was good. The house was really nice and clean, comfortable bed, however the communication with Armando wasn’t the best. He was really nice when we were there however a week after we left he accused us of breaking something we didn’t break without even asking us beforehand and also throwing us in the face that he had given us 2 slices of cheese and some jam and that we didn’t have the decency to tell him we had broken something when we really hadn't! I had completely intended on coming...

"Checking was a breeze with host giving valuable advice on where to eat. Rooms were very clean. Atmosphere and location was perfect for getting away from the busy cities. Plenty of options for breakfast! Would love to come back in the future!"

"A fine place to stay, but it’s PR is not helped by the unattractive photo of the indoor pool which is prominent in its advertising. I would suggest a shot of the town of Manteigas from the hotel- a beautiful vista indeed."

"O chalé fica num lugar muito bonito, pena que não vimos neve. O hotel ao qual os chalés ficam ligados, não fornecem café da manhã e refeições depende de ter ou não vaga para tal. Se for ficar aqui, leve tudo para se alimentar. O andar debaixo é piso frio, o que torna desconfortável, para ligar o aquecedor (salamandra) deve pagar para usar, o 1º uso é gratuito. Os quartos são razoáveis, mas a disposição que me deram para 5 pessoas foi um pouco ruim."

"La Casa con Historia es impresionante, a pesar de su antigüedad, está muy reformada y muy bien cuidada y es muy bonita y agradable. En las inmediaciones hay aparcamiento para el coche y nos permitieron ir acompañados de nuestro perrito. La atención del personal es inmejorable."
