The kitchen was super easy to use and they had almost everything you would need to cook a great meal. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful and the facilities were extremely clean. The room was super nice and we had no issues the entire stay. I would 100% recommend the Royal Marbella Golf Resort to anyone going to this area of Spain.

We had a wonderful stay at the Marbella Royal Golf Resort. The entire resort was clean, tidy, and very well-maintained. One of the highlights was the beautifully landscaped gardens and greenery throughout the property – it really added to the relaxing atmosphere. Our apartment was spacious, modern, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a great holiday. We truly enjoyed the peaceful setting and the attention to detail in how everything was cared for. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality stay in Marbella!

Spacious rooms good for families

Overall a good stay. Room was lovely, spacious and clean. There is no cafe, restaurant on site or in walking distance so you will need a car or get a taxi to shops. Our first room air con has broken and smelt quite badly but we were quickly moved to another room. Be aware do not park on the road outside, we were advised it was ok by a security guard but got a ticket!

The venue itself and apartments were great. Very modern, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we hadn't done our research before booking. The fact that it is called Royal Marbella golf resort is misleading as it is miles away, from Marbella. In fact it is miles away from anywhere including shops and public transport so if you dont intend hiring a car I dont book. Also there are no facilities on site. No shop, no bar, no restaurant. Probably our fault for not checking these things beforehand so unless you are simply looking to spend all your time in the local golf courses I wouldnt recommend this venue at all.

amazing resort, quiet location, and close to Golf fields. The only recommendation i would suggest is to have a simple breakfast offering in the resort, this way it is an additional revenue to the resort and guest would be at ease if they don't want to make their own breakfast in their rooms. other than that it 5 stars from my side :)

Need a car

You need a car to get here and to get to restaurants and shops. We booked a pool view but got a resort view which was good as the pool area was very noisy. There were a lot of loud families staying over the weekend so evenings were not very peaceful. Kitchen was well equipped only thing missing was a place to drain the washing up.

I've just spent 6 very happy days at this resort. I loved the room which was extremely comfortable and well kitted-out even with a washing machine. Fabulous shower in the bathroom, comfortable bed and 2 large televisions in the bedroom and sitting room. Didn't see a lot of the staff as I was out and about most of the time, but they were all very pleasant and polite when I did. Parking was easy, below the hotel, and very convenient for my room. The pool looked lovely, but I didn't have time, or the inclination, to use it in February. I loved my time at the Royal Marbella Golf Resort and if I need to return to this area, I would definitely try to stay here again.

We had a slow check in experience due to limited staff. However the reception staff were superb and made us feel at ease. The property is well maintained. The car park is underground which is ok but the lights only work manually so once you arrive you are fumbling in the dark to find a light switch. The rooms were recently renovated to a good standard. The negatives are no English TV channels and no coffee pods but the temperature of the room was too low and could not be regulated. We were offered a different room again by the fantastic reception staff. Without these issues we would have no hesitation in recommending the property to others and would rate it as good if this was the case.

The property itself is in a fantastic location, especially if you’re looking to enjoy a peaceful, scenic area with access to great golf and nearby attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and relatively newly updated, which made for a comfortable stay overall. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk left a sour impression. I called around 1 PM on the day of arrival to see if there was any possibility of checking in early, as many hotels are happy to accommodate guests if rooms are ready. Instead of a polite response, I was met with rudeness. The woman who answered the phone asked for my name and then sharply said, “I just told you check-in isn’t until 4,” without any courtesy or professionalism. When we arrived, we were initially greeted by a kind gentleman at the front desk, which quickly changed once the same woman I had spoken with earlier jumped into the interaction. She asked for all of our passports, which I provided—except for one of my friends who is a resident of Spain and only had her ID. As I tried to explain, the woman repeatedly talked over me and was unnecessarily rude, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere after hours of travel (we flew in from Miami). Thankfully, the manager, eventually stepped in and helped us sort everything out smoothly. I truly appreciated her professionalism and willingness to resolve the issue. Overall, while the accommodations and location were great except for front desk encounter.

This is my 2nd stay at this resort in 3 months and I was a bit disappointed this trip. The resort is great, they now have a gym which I only found on my last day, and would have been useful if I’d known about it. Not the staff’s fault I didn’t think to check the website for changes having stayed there so recently. Another change which I wasn’t happy about. After not charging for parking last trip, they are now charging €10 a day which adds a huge amount to a week’s car hire. I wrote to the hotel twice to query this but they completely ignored my emails, not acknowledging them in any way. I found this incredibly rude and one of the reasons I’ve marked the resort down to 4 from 5 stars. It’s a pity as the rooms are great, well equipped and very comfortable. Unless you’re staying there to play golf (I wasn’t) the location isn’t brilliant and you need a car to get around, hence my annoyance at the extra parking charges. I had a very quiet and peaceful stay last visit but this time had noisy neighbours playing music and talking very loudly until gone 1am. There is no one at reception after 8pm and no phone in the room for internal calls. I didn’t want to get dressed and go to find security to ask my neighbours to quieten down at that time of night so just put up with it until they eventually (and noisily) left the room. This didn’t happen every night, but it was annoying when it did.

Es war alles super, die Umgebung toll, die Anlage schön und die Zimmer sauber. Man benötigt allerdings einen Mietwagen um an die Strände und in die Stadt zu fahren.
