Marvelous in Marbella
Hotel Fuerte is a fabulous hotel. Some of the highlights during our stay were as follows: (1) Reception staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful - when we arrived (early) and our room wasn't ready they gave us complimentary drinks (2) Feurte's location is one of the best in Marbella - closest hotel to Marbella Old Town while also fronting onto the promenade and seafront - ideal (3) Staff overall were very courteous and professional throughout the hotel - we would like to mention Yvonne particularly who greeted us every day/evening with a smile and a brief chat (4) The hotel is spotless - well done to the cleaning staff (5) The comfort in the hotel was excellent - we slept particularly well on very high quality beds and the room layout was very well designed -would recommend people go for a partial/full sea-view (6) The buffet breakfast is fabulous (7) We'd recommend trying the buffet dinner too, which was very reasonably priced also (8) There was entertainment (live music) 3 of the 6 nights we stayed - which we enjoyed having as an option to stay in the hotel some nights The availability of lighter/smaller snacks though would be welcome in the Pinetree Club Overall the attention to detail was excellent and the staff fantastic - The hotel we were informed is being refurbished for a year between now and 2022 - we will be returning to the El Fuerte again and really looking forward to the changes they will make as they will probably only enhance the hotel even further
