"I was pleasantly surprised by everything at the Golden club hotel. I'd been slightly worried by some reviews before we arrived but i can honestly say our stay in August was excellent. It's a great 3 star hotel. All the staff were brilliant, my children went to kids club on our last 2 days and loved it, huge thanks to Junior, Andre, Pedro and Vinny, especially Junior who took my daughter under his wing and Pedro who entertained my son. The pool was huge and the only one in the world that actually had free loungers at almost any time of the day! The boat over to the beach was fun and the beach nice, with warmer water than the west coast. The room was a cheaper room, sunrise, and was spacious, well equipt and very clean. Plenty of hot water for showers and cleaners came every other day and did a wonderful job. I can only assume that people are expecting far more than they paid for, hand on heart, this is a great find."

"We have stayed closer to Tavira previously and knew cabanas area .This area is perfect for a relaxing and fun holiday.The apartment is absolutely beautiful and equiped with everything you can need even beach towels , parasols and beach seats. It is a modern and clean apartment with modern kitchen equipment even washing machine pods.on arrivsl there was wine and water in the fridge which was very welcome. The roof terrace is smaxing and has panoramic views of the coast line perfect for evenings. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend a trip to Cacela Velha if you get a chance "

"We spent 4 nights at Quinta dos Perfumes travelling as a same-sex couple. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and the accommodation was well-kept and comfortable. The hotel is set in beautiful orange groves, with breakfast overlooking the garden. Room was comfortable with good AC. Water available for guests in the lounge. The pool was a good size and set amongst the trees. The hotel is just back from the main road into Cabanas. They also hired out bikes for free, so you can cycle into the village to visit the beach or restaurants, which was excellent."
