Modern design by Phillipe Starck. The room was spacious with floor to ceiling windows and great bay view. It is an upside down hotel. You check in at the 16th floor, where the lounge and restaurant are also located, with rooms on lower floors.

The only thing about the hotel is the location. Everything else is just ok. Rooms are fairly clean, but the property can use a bit of an upgrade.

We had a really great stay at the Oxford Hotel in Seattle! The location is absolutely unbeatable, it’s right in the heart of downtown Seattle and only about two blocks from Pike Place Market. It’s hard to find a more central location, and the street felt safe and convenient for exploring the city. When you arrive, there isn’t a traditional check-in desk, just a lobby before heading up to your room. Our room was amazing and felt more like a small apartment. It had incredibly high ceilings, a living room with a pull-out bed and TV, a comfortable-sized queen bed, a bathroom with a small walk-in shower, and a mini kitchen stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was especially convenient while travelling with our child. There was also an air conditioner set up for us, which was a nice touch. Everything was very clean, and we loved the unique character of the space. Our only complaints were that the beds were quite uncomfortable, and the building was very noisy. We could hear a lot of footsteps and what sounded like someone running around above our ceiling, which was disruptive at times. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Oxford Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, unique, and incredibly central place to stay while exploring Seattle!
