Authentic Bavaria
This is the second time we have stayed here, and it keeps getting better! If you are looking for a quaint authentic German mountain hotel this is what you want! They are friendly and the breakfast is amazing! I highly recommend!

Great, but short stay
We only stayed one night while coming back from a longer trip, but I'm glad we picked this place. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The sauna and pool area was superb. We ate breakfast and dinner there, and both were great. I also loved how pet-friendly they were, and how convenient the location was to the Eagle's Nest. I also appreciated the city discount card they provided.

Very good food selections on offer for breakfast and dinner. Beds not particularly comfortable, a lot of traffic noise from road nearby.

Great Value
The hotel provides exceptional customer service, breakfast is delicious and plentiful, and location is ideal. Excellent pool and outdoor seating areas. Our balcony had a bright light directed at it, so it was difficult to enjoy the views and cool weather at dawn. There are hotels in the area that may provide better views but this hotel provides a lot of extras (pool, massages, parking, breakfast, great customer service) that are hard to beat. Nearby Italian restaurant with great food... worth the wait! I will definitely book again due to its value.

Very Nice and Comfortable Stay
Easy walking distance from the train station with a small carry on roller bag. Very nice and helpful staff. They quickly provided hot water when requested for tea and held our bags after checking out. Breakfast was plentiful and very nice. Pool was warm and comfortable. Hotel provided a card to cover local bus transportation.

It was a great hotel in the area! The pool area is nice and is walking distance to everything within the city! The only downside to the hotel is depending on the time of year there is no air conditioning. We went in the summer and it was a little hot. Overall though everything about the hotel was great and everyone was very helpful!!!!!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Alphenhotel Fischer. The staff was friendly and very helpful guiding us to nearby tourist sites and printing tickets we needed during our next stay in Vienna. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and scenic and the breakfasts and dinner we had in the restaurant were all excellent. We only wished we could have stayed longer and will if we have the opportunity to return to Berchestgaden again.

A beautiful Alpen hotel with helpful and friendly staff, an excellent breakfast, and the view of the snow-capped mountains in the morning sunrise was breathtaking.

This hotel was charming. Room was spacious and well appointed. We had the equivalent of a nice suite with deck and the view of the mountains was lovely. I got some beautiful sunset photo shots from there. The staff was professional and helpful. They served a quality breakfast. You could even have a mimosa.

The food was excellent. Both dinner and breakfast. The room was very comfortable. The only negative, was the pillow wasn't comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and spoke English. The area was beautiful mountain landscapes, and we had wonderful, sunny and warm days.

Don't get the apartment for the mountain view
The booking said that the room had mountain views from the apartment. We found that the room actually had an apartment complex so the mountains were barely visible. Expedia should really consider changing the description as we were stuck there for 2 nights. We tried to get a different room but the hotel was fully booked. This was room/apt 103. We extended our stay and were able to get room 302 for a night. The view from there was gorgeous. Other than that, the breakfast buffet was delicious and the dinner was great as well. The staff was courteous and polite.

A very nice place to stay
Food served is good, they offer a bus and event pass which will save you quite a bit of money. Parking can be a little difficult if you have a large vehicle.

Great place near the lake
Didn't arrive until late and person was there to let me in after regular closing time. Spacious with friendly staff. Extremely clean and well designed while overlooking the mountains. Truly beautiful area.

Overall we enjoyed one overnight in this hotel. The cleanliness was simply unbelievable - every corner of this hotel is incredibly clean. The breakfast was good. The one negative would have to be the front desk staff on check in who were very abrupt bordering on rude. Ironically the hotel must have a policy that all guests are brought to their room by the front desk staff which normally is a nice gesture but because they were so unfriendly was just awkward. This was in contrast to the owner who checked us out and was very friendly.

Great hotel. Wish we had stayed longer so we could use the pool. We arrived late & were made very welcome even though the restaurant was closing. Had a great 3 courses without any trouble. The staff were fantastic and the meal was the best I had during our 1 month in Europe. The rooms were nearly renovated and lovely. The only lack, was no air con but the staff very quickly arrived with Fans. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this hotel and as mentioned, I just wish we had known about it earlier because we would have stayed longer.

Clean room, nice size, mini bar prices were great (though that may be common in Germany). Room had a balcony facing the front with beautiful view of the mountains! Restaurant was excellent, had a great dinner at a great price. Breakfast was included and was excellent as well.

Alles in allem gibt es hierzu nichts negatives zu berichten, wenn überhaupt etwas verbessert werden sollte könnten evtl. die sehr weichen Matratzen in den Betten ausgetauscht werden. Dies ist aber sicherlich ein supjektives Gefühl jedes einzelnen.
