We were very impressed with this hotel and its staff. They changed us to a more suitable room when they learned my husband had recently had spinal surgery. The waiter helped me choose gluten free food though there was no provision for this on the menu. I think my lack of French and their lack of English caused me to be given a plate containing pasta, which if made from wheat is like poison to a coeliac like me, The plate of food I eventually received was very late, cool and a very small portion. I always present to restaurants , in their native language, information cards produced by the Coeliac Society, informing them of foods I can eat. These foods are basically meat, fish, veg, fruit, cheese etc as long as they do not have wheat, rye or oats in any form, e.g. gravies, sauces.
