"The room was perfectly serviceable for my one-night stay in Frankfurt, between train and airport travel. I appreciated the location so near the north ('nord') exit of the train station but avoiding the seedy streets in that area. I did not get to take advantage of the breakfast due to my early check-out time, but it may be helpful for others to know that there is no kettle or coffee maker in the room. "Location is close to train station but in a sketchy area. Room had bed bugs. We were given another room which also had bed bugs and were not comfotable staying at this property, we had to find another hotel at 2am. Staff was helpful but couldn’t speak english which made it difficult during the situation. We did receive a refund from the hotel as expedia pushed for one. Would not recommend staying here"

B&B HOTEL Idar-Oberstein

B&B HOTEL Idar-Oberstein
11 km from Bergen
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (66 reviews)
"The hotel is perfectly functional, staff were helpful and the rooms were just fine. Having to walk through cigarette smoke from the staff smoking at the lobby entrance took the shine off things though. Idar-Oberstein itself is not what I expected. It's all a bit shabby, run-down and sad. In the centre we saw a lot of poverty, homelessness and on the street drinking which made it feel a little edgy and unsafe. The restaurants in the town centre are ok, but limited in number/choice. On reflection,...
