The Marriott Newton is very close to the T, so we were able to take public transportation into Boston every day of our visit. We had a river-view room, with a pretty good view as it was directly below. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, but both the ‘cooked for us’ and buffet options were tasty and plentiful. The honeydew melon was surprisingly ripe, and the strawberry/blueberry/blackberry combo was perfect. Our room was very clean and the housekeeping staff obviously works very hard.

First room smelled like cigarettes, later found out the mattress smelled like urine. Bathroom not thoroughly cleaned. Staff was extremely helpful and moved my family to another room.
