"The roof top apartment high above the town and beaches did not disappoint. We were thrilled with our all too short visit but the spectacular sunset was everything we hoped to see. The night sky and the stunning morning views also were lovely. The morning walk just over to the cliffside board walk was the perfect way to start the morning. "Great service, beautiful view of the room, excellent breakfast and location. The restaurant where you have breakfast has a gorgeous view as well, right on the beach. They have a spa, sauna, indoor and outdoor pool with salt water, the space is limited on the indoor spa area. Free parking, but might be limited if a lot of people are at the beach, since you share with another hotel and beach goers. But there is other free parking nearby. The rooms are clean and updated, lots of nature and beach elements, the balcony with the ocean view is stunning, the only thing is no ac, only this small portable one. Free filtered water in the room! I would definitively recommend staying here, it’s such a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Service is 5 stars! "

"This was a hidden gem and a very interesting property in Obidos. It was fun to see all the books on every wall, nook and cranny ! Very unlike anywhere we have ever stayed. The restaurant was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday evening so we had to go out into the walked city which actually turned out very well. Breakfast in the Literary Man was really good with an amazing assortment of pastries! The property is definitely older and a little worn but had a lot of character ."

"We had an easy check-in and a beautiful spacious apartment. We are casual golfers who had not planned on playing, but the course looked so nice we had to! The beds are large and comfortable. The WiFi, tv, AC, and bathrooms all worked perfectly. We played some family soccer at the outdoor pitch and would have enjoyed the pool except that a film crew was shooting a soap opera during our stay… it’s okay because instead we swam at Foz de Arelho beach 20 minutes away, which was one of our trip highlights. We are used to sharing a small room with the kids on holiday, so having a dining room and separate bedrooms felt luxurious! Breakfast was nice, with decent plant-based options. A highly recommended stay!"

"This was a lovely, quiet, peaceful place to stay. Our family of 3 (2 adults, 1 child) stayed here for a night during our quick stop in Obidos and we are so glad we chose it. Super clean, lovely front desk person, comfy room. The breakfast the next morning at the castle (an extra charge) was delicious and such a nice treat. Highly recommend!"

"Cute spot with friendly staff. Rooms are small yet well designed. Like that there’s a restaurant on property and easy parking on the street. One thing that was challenging is that there seems to not be any noise insulation, you can hear noise in the hallway and there was a door that sounded like it was being slammed in the afternoon and morning. Thankfully things quieted down at night, so it didn’t affect our sleep, but something to note if you are sensitive to this."
