Stayed here with my brothers on a weekend trip to Berlin. Very good hotel, near to several restaurants and only a short stroll from Zoo Station. Room was spotless and the staff were excellent. Would stay here again.

Don't be followed by the entrance area downstairs with the dated and sexist art - or the rather dated looking lobby. The rooms are modern (and large) and well set out. The breakfast was very high quality - except for the coffee. Lots of good eating options nearby, not far from public transport. A group of us stayed there for a conference at CubeCity, and were very pleased.

Very Good Position
Very good position on Kurfürstendamm. We had an enormous room / suite with 2 bathrooms ( a bit odd), however no view. It was at the back of the building which was good for sleeping. Good WiFi. Few TV channels in English. Kettle, tea and coffee provided. Staff at Check in and Check out were friendly and efficient. Air conditioning did not appear to work in the room however when we asked about this it was sorted.

Somehow we ended up with a room with a double bed, 4 tein beds and a pullout couch. Others in our group needed a cot for their 8 year old. We would gladly have traded rooms, but we arrived very late in the evening, and all were already asleep. It was fine fir us, but seemed like maybe rooms were not assigned in the best possible way...

Middle of the road experience. 3.5 stars out of 5
The positive part: Front desk/staff was friendly, our room faced the main street but was quiet when windows were closed, hotel location was excellent, easy to get to restaurants, shopping, etc. Computer station at reception for printing documents worked fine. Not so positive part -- air conditioning only worked to a certain point then stopped; wifi spotty; room lacking a refrigerator (which is pretty standard in most hotels); housekeeping - super late, and inconsistent with what they cleaned; phone for wake up call -- not receiving calls although the front desk did call. Overall -- Best Western will need to up their game, especially if they are trying to attract business travelers.

Air conditioning didn't work despite several attempts to inform the reception. Unbearable and unlivable, pungent like conditions in the room despite having called the concierge multiple times through the day. Wouldn't recommend staying here. I got stumped by the high customer rating too, but wouldn't consider staying at a Best Western ever again.

The hotel was fine and is in an excellent location. The only issue was that the hotel did not acknowledge the expedia offer of free breakfast and airport shuttle. The breakfast issue was sorted out quite easily with the friendly and helpful staff but there was no shuttle.

The hotel itself was ok with spacious room and tea kettle. The free Wifi was good. A secure bag holding room was very useful. However, double beds are two singles with single covers and single duvets, so not a double. The double glazing doesn't stop the noise from the main road (it's a very noisy road) or the demolition of the concrete building next (starts 7am) with pneumatic drills destroying the concrete vibrating through the block. Hotels.com and the Hotel didn't pre-warn about that or the noisy event outside setting up till 3am with scaffolding thrown on pavement etc. Breakfast is E17!

It was clean and nice. I had intermittent internet connectivity issues, but they assured me it was unique to me, lol. I loved the breakfast a lot.
