This is very good but they need to address their heating system which makes rooms to be too hot at night.

Clean, CONVENIENT, would stay again
Incredibly convenient and a short ride to city center on the train. The hotel is a short walk to the train station and it’s the last stop on the line so it’s easy to navigate. Love that Bern gives travelers a free tourism pass for the train for a day! Hotel was cute and vibey in the lobby. One of the better moxy’s we have stayed in!

The location of the property is great. Your are within walking distance to the train or bus station. The staff were great and friendly. Shoutout to Andrea as she was awesome. Note to management. On a sold out hotel, you can’t put only 2 people between 4-10pm, specially between Thursday- Sunday to check in and serve the bar. Most of the time both staff members were helping guest check in and no one was managing the bar.

1- Very friendly and helpful staff 2- Couple of noisy people in our floor with noisy kids 3- First day they blocked the amount in my credit card, when I checked out, told them i'm going to use a different card and they forgot to unblock my credit card. 4- Location: close to train station but there is nothing around the hotel. 5- Cleanness: Fine and acceptable 6- no safety box in the room

Great location for family trip
This hotel had great beds and was very clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Great selection for breakfast which included breads, cheeses, meats, coffee, juice, fruit, vegetables, cereal, etc. There were several games for the family in the lobby. The hotel was easy to reach via train or bus. Just one stop from Old Town area. We did not find it noisy and our room was just above the station (unless we opened the window). Great stay, highly recommend!

Nice hotel and location
Check-in and out was smooth and fast. Not sure if it is the timing but hotel was not too crowded and ttransport to Bern old town was a breeze.

Great hotel. Location is a little outside the centre of Bern but it's right next to Wankdorf train station with regular trains (one stop to Bern centre, takes 3 to 5 minutes) and regular trams (around 15 mins), Bern give tourists free public transport so no cost either. Areas is quiet but pleasant enough and a handy Coop store next door if you want to buy a cheap coffee and pastry for breakfast. Staff very friendly and called a restaurant for us to make a booking (didn't quite trust our German!).

Not a good stay of a family of 4 .couldn’t sleep even a minute as no air conditioning only air cooling. Open windows and trains passing all night as hotel is AT THE BAHNHOF and very Very noisy. No closet or storage.no safe in room. Was in for 2 nights and requested to leave a day early as did not feel comfortable at all but hotel refused our request for early checkout and said they would charge us. Being a Marriot Bonvoy member made no difference to them. They did change our room for the next night but the arrogance of the staff and no EMPATHY WAS unacceptable. Bad customer service. Also PARKING WAS 24 CHF. Not that cheap. All in all a very avoidable hotel. Don’t go unless there are no rooms available elsewhere. Thanks

Due to the rate you have booked and the high occupancy it was not possible for us to credit you the second night, I hope you understand that. We would have been more than happy if you would have requested this directly over us, as our staff ist always constantly more than happy and ready to help our guests. We have put your marriott bonvoy number on file when you checked in, but due to the fact that you have booked over an agent there is no possibilty in crediting you these nights to your profile, in addition it makes it a lot more difficult to shorten a stay for free. The staff at the Hotel Moxy were very helpful and attentive. I found the hotel very clean and accessible. However, the walls are very thin. Additionally, the double charge for a deposit on my card was a little bit of a nuisance, especially on a bank holiday.

Nice modern hotel parking very expensive
Hotel was clean and very welcoming. We arrived late and were offered food in the bar with a very limited menu, ie just pizza. Parking was very expensive - 24 CHF per night so for 3 nights this made for an expensive trip.

Great experience checking in and perfect location for our trip. Beds are very firm and weren’t the most comfortable based on my personal preference but I would still definitely recommend to stay at the Moxy.

Modern Hotel without the decadency
I've stayed both in the Moxy Bern Expo and Stay Kooook. Their both in physically in the same building. There's a few differences here and there but overall it's they're both pretty modern approach and good. Moxy Bern has a bit more of a people friendly face for the service-end where Stay Kooook is more focused on contactless self-service and cooking appliances. The interior in the standard rooms in Moxy are pretty minimalistic in style. However lots of modern technologies installed, modern flattv with Chromecast support. USB powersockets, decent Wifi. However it's not a fancy deluxe place with a spa/sauna/swimming pool if you expect that. It's nice for a few days of stay. Decent breakfast and the reception gives you a Free Bern Pass for Public Transportation at check-in. It's not in the city center, but only 1 stop away with the S-bahn in front of the hotel.
