"We had a beautiful view of the Eiger from our room. The breakfast was good and there's a grill next door for easy dining. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the train station. They provided us a free bus pass to Grindelwald town. There's a Migros supermarket and Raifeisen Bank ATM in the train station if you want cash."

"I made a mistake while booking and I couldn’t make it on the date of checking in. It happened to me while I booked for Cancun trip as my flight was over night so I booked extra day to make sure I can check in whenever I needed. However this hotel sold my room to other people because I didn’t come on the first day. I even used Expedia try to contact them but on the day I arrived, they said they have no room, my daughter is 1 year old and crying because she is hungry and need to change diapers. Front desk lady instead of help me, what she said was can you please control your child. Very helpful :) and until another girl come to help us, I thought I would have to rep on the street."

"The room was very dated, and unfortunately the cleanliness did not meet expectations. The washroom had an unpleasant smell, and the bathtub was visibly dirty upon arrival. There is no air conditioning in the room, so it became quite warm at night even in May. The room itself is also very small, although I was aware of that before booking. The balcony was the best feature of the room with a good view, but even the outdoor table and chairs were dirty. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, however the cleanliness and food handling practices were concerning. The staff preparing omelettes were using the same gloved hands to handle different ingredients, creating potential cross-contamination between meat, vegetables, and cheese. I also witnessed a staff member handling cheese with bare hands while wearing shellac nails, which was very unhygienic and concerning from a food safety perspective. For the amount of money charged per night, I would not recommend this facility."
