8.4/10 Very good! (1,002 reviews)
Good location close to both rail station and old town. The immediate area is a little ethnic which might not be for everyone. No kettle, fridge or air con but a good fan was provided. The breakfast was excellent with good choice including smoked salmon and was definitely the best thing about the hotel. Whilst the facilities were not the best, this was reflected in the price and so I think the hotel represented good value.

Great location, good breakfast, very clean and nice and quiet. Only critique was that the refrigerator in my room did not work but otherwise I really liked this place.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (177 reviews)
Overall, the hotel was wonderful, clean and roomy. We had plenty of space for our two adults and one child in the family lofted room. The staff wasn’t around much, and it felt like we were the only guests there. But when we did interact with the staff, they were very friendly kind of gave an Airbnb type feeling.
Some concerns as Americans was the lack of air-conditioning, no fridge in the room and nowhere to get ice. Someone traveling in our party needed to keep medication cold and ice was very expensive to buy from the gas stations daily as the other option was to leave with the staff in their fridge, but the front desk was rarely manned in the mornings and at night.
Additionally, because of the heat, our windows were open most evenings and there is a church close and the bell goes off very frequently. Which cause issues with sleeping.
The restaurant on site was not open Friday or Saturday nights, which was a little disappointing when you get back from a day of traveling and can’t grab a bite there in the hotel.
Even with those minor issues, I would recommend this hotel to other travelers

9/10 Wonderful! (1,004 reviews)
"This hotel is very pleasant with friendly and helpful staff and a great breakfast. The shuttle bus to the Festspielhaus is great (though not so good when there weren’t enough seats on the way back) and the glass of Sekt beforehand is a nice touch. The rooms are comfortable and the air-con good. The ..."
