9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,007 reviews)
Be WARNED: We never leave bad reviews but I am today. This is one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed at. Air conditioning and climate controlled rooms were promised but the second day the hotel inexplicably turned off all AC in our room even though it was still 80 degrees. The desk manager claimed it was a ‘city mandate’ which was a complete lie. The hotel is simply cheap disguised as ‘eco friendly’. The Desk manager was arrogant and condescending
We checked with several nearby hotels. They all had air conditioned rooms, and said that the Arok hotel is infamous for being dirty, outdated, not offering amenities promised and being rude to guests. Many leave the hotel after a night.
We immediately moved over to another hotel and it was so much better. I highly suggest choosing another hotel. There are so many better ones in this city and the Arok hotel management are some of the rudest people we’ve ever encountered.
