Top Besser Museum Hotel Reviews
Hampton Inn & Suites Alpena
8/10 Good
"Beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Check in was a little slow, but seamless otherwise. The bedsheets were nice and the room and bathroom clean, however, we found the bed to be very firm. The mattress is on a platform, not a box spring. We kept waking up due to shoulder pain and hip pain from the firmness. If you are young, it probably won’t bother you! The breakfast was very good. We had them email us the receipt and it wasn’t till after we left we looked at it and were shocked that they tacked on a “self parking fee” of $5.55 on top of the Hotels.com agreed upon price. We were never told we would have to pay to use the hotel parking lot, which should be included in the hotel price."

Ramada by Wyndham Alpena
8/10 Good
"Room was comfortable, clear, pleasant. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bar/restaurant was ok. Cook was out but they still provided food service. Very nice staff. Good people, good service, far price. Parts of facility need updating but not necessary today in my opinion. Good overall for the price. Happy with the stay."

Alpena Family Home Games + Fenced Yard
8/10 Good
"The space was perfect for our group & we loved the game room for small kids and fenced yard if you had pets. The space felt large with multiple tables to sit to eat at. We liked the bedrooms on different floors also for some privacy if sharing with other families."
Spacious 4-bedrooms lake front retreat in delightful Alpena area.
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay near Alpena, we were in town for a fishing tournament, 2 trucks and boats fit just fine. The overhang was great to back one boat under and plug in. Four separate rooms and beds. Plenty of space, nice big kitchen! The F-16’s flying over from Alpena airport were awesome! Would stay again!"
FOUR SEASON LAKE FRONT HOME - FAMILY HOLIDAYS
