"Opening hours for the pool was not customer friendly. Some renovations were underway and more should have been done to prepare guests including signage. The frint desk team was exceptional, Mike was a five plus. Overall a good experience"

"Great location for a short stay, especially if you commute daily to the NIH campus by Metro. Within a two-mile walking radius of the Residence Inn, you’ll find local and chain restaurants, shopping, and several grocery stores, including three Trader Joe’s locations. We stayed in a cozy one-bedroom suite with a living area and kitchen. The bed was comfortable, and the excellent blackout curtains made it possible to sleep well into the morning. The lobby also offers a convenient business workspace with a couple of computers and a printer. The hotel serves a wonderful hot breakfast buffet, and the breakfast staff were very friendly. The waffle maker seemed to be available only on weekends. We mostly ate out, including at the excellent nearby Andy’s Pizza. For Catholics who want to attend daily or weekend Mass, a Catholic church is within a 10-minute walk."

"We were happy with this property. The basics were good: large comfy beds, decent showers, good living room and dining area, good a/c (much appreciated in the summer heat), big yard (with antlered deer!) and attached small playground, kitchen with adequate utensils/dishes/pots, quiet street and area. The owner was pleasant and responsive. Some of the “touches” needed work: very small kitchen, refrigerator was in the entry room and leaked water periodically, LR rug was stained, inadequate towels, minimal furniture and drawers in the BRs, door to bathroom in master BR had to be secured with a latch, in-house washer dryer leaked and flooded the upstairs bathroom where they are located, backup laundry room was outside and poorly lit. Certainly not luxe as the photos might have you believe, but nice and more than adequate and reasonably priced, and if you have young children you won’t have to worry about them breaking anything valuable. Should also mention that the stairs to the second floor where all the bedrooms are located is quite steep; didn’t bother our four-year-old, but lugging our large suitcase upstairs was a challenge. Overall, we were pleased with the property."

The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions before our arrival, making check-in and our stay seamless. The directions were simple and easy to follow, and everything was well organized. We had a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this property to others."
