"The staff and guests that stay there who some actually own timeshares in, we're extremely friendly. They let us check in a little early and everything was clean. I would definitely go back if I was ever visiting. Only knock I would have on the whole place with the oven. I think they had cleaned it recently and the product residue was left over and it made the oven smoke a bit but it was not a big deal. Overall very satisfied "

"Very nice house. Had everything we needed. We were 3 couples. Nice pool area and the canal right there we cought a few fishes. Saw turtles and nice birds. Location is ideal. Very short drive to the beach and there was beach chairs provided from the host. Will return if possible. Easy communication with the host. "

"Great place with short walk to beach. Beach chairs, towels and anything needed for beach included. Great outdoor space with hammock and patio furniture. We frequently used the grill. Bob's nearby for any questions. Loved this beach cottage. "

Unfortunately, several amenities—including worn mattresses, unstable beds, torn furniture, missing window coverings, and no towels at check-in—did not match the quality expected. Communication about promised fixes stopped, which was disappointing. Hopefully these items will be addressed so the property better reflects the standards guests typically expect when booking through VRBO. Future guests may want to confirm these issues have been resolved prior to booking."

"The location of this property is excellent and very convenient. The air conditioning worked well, the main bed was comfortable, and the TV programming options were good. However, the overall condition of the home and amenities were significantly below what is represented in the listing photos. The outdoor white dining set and the rattan furniture set pictured where both no longer present. The back patio and shower were covered in black mold. The furniture set in the vestibule has mismatched, worn and stained cushions that did not reflect the advertised standard. The landscaping and overall presentation were noticeably neglected compared to the listing images.Upon arrival, we found the kitchen smoke detector was sitting in pieces on top of the cabinets. That was repaired the next day after we reported it, and pest control was sent out as well. While those specific issues were addressed, there were several additional maintenance concerns, including damaged shower doors, non-functioning fan remotes, and other signs of deferred upkeep. This was not simply a minor maintenance oversight — the property’s current condition does not align with the photos used to market it. VRBO ultimately provided a partial credit after reviewing the discrepancies.If location is your only priority, this property may still work. If you are booking based on the appearance and condition shown in the listing, I would strongly recommend requesting updated, current photos before reserving."
