Beautiful, perfectly located, incredible stay
I stayed here with my father, husband and son in July. I cannot stress enough how beautiful this hotel is. I cannot stress enough how warm and welcoming and incredible the owner is. My father is originally from Bethlehem and him and my mother had walked by this hotel on their last trip and met the owner and his mom by happenstance walking by to visit the holy sites. They were so welcoming and so generously hospitable to my parents that I knew I had to book this place on my next visit. And I am so happy we did. The location is steeped in history. You feel like you've entered a home and a museum and a time capsule of a beautiful world. It is literally steps away from all the religious landmarks and you feel an incredible sense of awe being so close to all of it. The rooms are so comfortable and every room has a story. The owner is so knowledgable about the area and we had such an amazing morning chatting with him over the delicious breakfast that he cooked for us. You MUST stay here if visiting. The owner has the most generous and beautiful heart and knows so much about the city and can point you in any direction. We were visiting from the United States for reference. We were so thankful to the owner and everyone that made our stay truly one of the most memorable experiences ever. The Palestinian hospitality is so beautiful and so heartwarming. You simply can't go wrong staying here! Historic, clean, perfectly located, caring and attentive management, felt like a dream! Book it

Simply an incredible experience staying here! Nabil is such a great host and gentleman. We enjoyed spending time with him and learning about the history of his family home. From being very accommodating to our schedule, to the amazing breakfast he prepared featuring his mother's secret recipe for eggs, to driving us around to see original Banksy art, and treating us as friends instead of customers... we cannot say enough great things about our experience! We will be back!!

This property is so charming with traditional features like stone walls and old glass. The terrace is lovely and the breakfast was outstanding. The family that owns it is very kind and helpful. The only thing that I wouldn’t give 5 stars for is that the bathroom is dated but it is clean and you aren’t going to Bethlehem looking for a 5 star bathroom. I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I came to visit the place in Bethlehem where Lord Jesus was born. The owner of this beautiful unique hotel is from one of the oldest Christian families in the world. He is such a kind and wonderful host. To stay in the ‘Emily’ room was a privilege. We have never been to a hotel like it. I had a life changing spiritual experience in the oldest church in the world the next morning. The hotel is only 300m from this church. The owner Nabil, then organised for us to have a driver Ashraf to take us to the ‘Shepherd’s field’. He also was an amazing guide and took us to Herod’s castle and then to the checkpoint. It was all an amazing experience. Nabil’s breakfast is beyond words. His own home made jams are so delicious and his mother’s recipe for eggs we have never had anything like it in the world. It was so fabulous when we return we would like to stay much longer. Thank you to Nabil and Ashraf for helping us to have such a life changing experience!

The owner is very friendly and treats his guests like family. We had a very pleasant conversation with the owner over a cup of tea, sharing with us the history of this historic building and the very interesting history of his family. The hotel is walking distance from the Basilica of the Nativity.

Very Grateful to know this Hotel/Owner
The best in Israel. Our Host Owner Nabell was the best host of Bethlehem and overall Israel. Very caring person, and very kind. He made sure that we had the best of everything. He made sure we eat before leaving the hotel, he made sure that everything is in placed and perfect. A family owned Hotel, closed to everywhere important places to visit. From Churches, Pharmacy and Restaurants.

Xmas in Bethlehem
Great location for access to all the Xmas activities. Close enough to walk but far enough away to not hear all the activities happening in the late evening. Very comfortable and Nabil was an excellent host.

Wonderful Stay In 500 year home in Bethlehem
Our stay at Dar Sitti Aziza was like going home. The owner (Mr. Nabil) was very attentive to our needs. He and the entire staff provided us with the comfort of home, and more importantly truly cared about our comfort. The location within a very short walk (50 meters) from the Church on Nativity and Square was fantastic, and accommodation were great, in this historical 500 year old home. With out a doubt we will stay there again on our next business or vacation visit to Bethlehem.

Highly recommended and unique
This hotel was fantastic. Our host was so friendly and welcoming, and the highlight was a secret family recipe for breakfast in the morning. Visiting Bethlehem is a unique experience and if you want to stay in the centre, just steps from the Church of the Nativity and Milk Grotto, I highly recommend this hotel.

An amazing boutique hotel that combines a unique history with comfort and care from a truly wonderful staff. The breakfast was perfect, especially the owner’s mother’s special egg recipe. Cannot imagine staying anywhere else when back in Bethlehem.

Dar Sitti Aziza - worth every penny!
Our stay at Dar Sitti Aziza was truly memorable! Nabil and his staff made our trip one to remember forever. The place was spotless, rooms are big and comfortable, and we really loved the Palestinian traditional breakfast! The location was excellent, just a 4 minute walk from the Nativity Chruch and Milk Grotto Church. Thank you, Nabil. We will be back!

Excellent stay at Dar Sitti Aziza
The owner greeted us with tea and local sweets. He arranged the transportation for us from Jerusalem. The hotel has very local culture design and is very clean. The rooms are big and bed are very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with her mom’s Special recipe eggs and local jams and olives. The location is excellent with only 2’ walking to Nativity and Mager Square. It is very safe in Bethlehem. People should try to stay there for a couple of days. Nativity line was very long and you might not make it if you take a day bus tour from Jerusalem. We arranged private transportation to Eilat then to Petra the next day. In general it was an excellent stay.

This property is a renovated 500 year old stone home near the Church of the Nativity. Every room is totally unique. The host/owner is a remarkable inn keeper who is most interesting and helpful. He got us transportation from and to Tel Aviv. He also arranged a tour of the area for us. Breakfast was excellent and treats during the day delicious. I highly recommend it.

Beautifully restored and lovingly maintained, Dar Sitti Aziza is a fantastic place to stay. Close to the Manger square but up a quiet street. The crown in the jewel however is its owner Nabil who goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and happy. He went out and bought me a hot water bottle for a sore shoulder, took me out to sample some authentic deserts twice and helped me with my travel arrangements. Breakfast was lovely and people return to sample his secret egg recipe. Thank you Nabil for making my stay so wonderful. I will be back :)

An unforgettable experience!
What a way to visit Bethlehem! Staying at Dar Sitti Aziza was truly an unforgettable experience. The 500-year-old building has been beautifully restored and was a step away from major attractions and restaurants. It was clear that great thought and care were given to the selection of soaps, pillows, and linen. However, what really amazed us was the owner, Nabil. He went above and beyond all expectations and in such a genuine and memorable fashion. Nabil is the definition of a man who wears his heart on his sleeve and he truly cares about his guests. From the moment we arrived, he brought such a pernickety care to all our needs. He offered us great personalized recommendations, and shared with us what he truly enjoyed about living in Bethlehem. We had the chance to spend an evening with Nabil on the cozy patio, sharing life stories over a smooth, fruity shisha. The breakfast was incredibly delicious - we can’t keep talking about the eggs! We would highly recommend Dar Sitti Aziza for the welcoming, holistic experience that we received. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Nabil!

Amazing place to stay in Bethlehem
Nabil is truly an amazing host! From the first second I arrived to the last minute I spend in the hotel, the experience was unique and warm. The hotel is in the center of Bethlehem, located 5 minutes walk from the Nativity Church, the souk and restaurants. The place in itself is very charming, decorated with taste and the beds very comfortable. I actually had the best night of sleep in 7 days of traveling there. More over, Nabil showed me around the city by night which was a very nice moment and a way to spend time among locals. And the breakfast : simply delicious!

A very special experience
I cannot say enough about how wonderful this hotel is! It is truly a gem in every way: a very convenient location in the center of town, clean and comfortable rooms, a historic family home restored with care, a DELICIOUS breakfast and most importantly, a helpful, knowledgable and thoughtful host. While eating your breakfast on the terrace you can look out onto the Church of the Nativity, a nice addition to the lovely atmosphere of the hotel. I have already recommended this hotel to family members who are planning to go to Bethlehem soon, and my husband and I would very happily come back and stay here. Nabil is fantastic and knows so much about the area - both in Bethlehem and the surrounding sites - that you will feel you are being taken under the wing of an expert. This hotel is very special and will contribute to making your time in Bethlehem a memorable experience, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

A Jewel of a find
Before staying at the Dar Sitti Aziza we were not sure we were going to be able to visit Bethlehem. We were concerned about overall security but just a few days before our departure, a friend told us that he had been to Bethlehem and that it was really safe. So we decided to book at the Dar Sitti Aziza for one day to check out the area. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hotel owner which not only worked tirelessly to make sure we were comfortable but made us feel like family. He gave us a private tour of Bethlehem, arranged for us a private tour to Jehrico, the Mount of Temptation, Zacchaeus tree, the Jordan River, and the Dead Sea. These places were amazing but we would not have visited them without the assistance at the Dar Sitti Aziza. Our trip to Bethlehem ended up lasting 3 days and we enjoyed every minute. Breakfast at the Dar Sitti Aziza was not only the best we had in our trip (which also included several areas in Israel) but was so much we had no need for food the rest of the day. There are also a lot of shops nearby with the best prices we saw all around, so we ended up buying all our presents here. Our trip to Bethlehem ended up not only being much better than we could have ever imagined but we probably ended up saving money even if we had booked at a hotel half its price. Additionally, our trip allowed us to see how wonderful the Palestinian people are and how much there is to visit. This hotel is a jewel.

Beautiful heritage house in the center of town.
We were welcomed like family into this beautiful heritage hotel. Our room was upgraded and our every need was catered to. We had a wonderful Christmas and look forward to spending our next Christmas at this lovely boutique hotel.

Lovely, lovely, lovely
This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location. The breakfast is so nice, served in a courtyard under a pistachio tree. The host is very kind, friendly and thoughtful. I have stayed in several hotels in Bethlehem, this is the best one that I would recommend.

We stayed in Dar Sitti Aziza in June and were amazed about everything there. Our room was cosy, beautiful and well equipped. The garden - and breakfest in it - was amazing. We really enjoyed out time. Thank You Nabil for your hospitality; we will definitely come back some day.

La gentillesse de Nabil à fait de notre séjour à bethleem un moment magique. Nabil est plein de petites attentions pour ses hôtes . La maison est superbe , en pierre. La literie est excellente. L’emplacement est idéal à quelques pas de l’église de la nativité. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

Fantastic old house with court and garden (!) in the TRUE centre of Jerusalem (1 minute on foot from Mary's Grotto, 2 minutes from the Church of Nativity and Omar’s Mosque!!). Atmosphere, warm and professional hospitality, overall great quality of the accommodation, attention for the detail, high quality amenities from local producers, hyper careful assistance of the owner (super elegant and cultured), unrivalled breakfast with home-made organic Palestinian foods... Pure enchantment! We have just got back home and we are already looking forward to be back at Nabil's boutique 'jewel' historic Palestinian villa in Bethlehem! Unmissable.

You have to book one of the rooms!
The stay at dar sitti aziza was very special to us because the owner Nabil made it like that. He's such a friendly and courteous person and makes the best palestinian breakfast! You are very lucky to get one of the rooms and the chance to meet Nabil. We highly recommend this place. Also it is perfectly located near the nativity church and the Manger square, it's very clean and comfortable. If possible, we would give 100 points.

これまでに宿泊した数ある宿泊施設の中でも、非常にホスピタリティに溢れるホテルでした。 例えばホテルのオーナーが親切で、家族のようにもてなしてくれます。当日急遽予約したにも関わらず一時間足らずでメールにて宿の情報を伝えてくれました。就寝前には郷土料理を差し入れしてくれましたし、朝食の際にも一緒に朝食を食べながらベツレヘム市内の観光や文化について教えてくれたりと、ベツレヘムの滞在が楽しいものになったのは紛れもなくオーナーのホスピタリティのおかげです。 ホテル全体としても、ロケーションが最高で(ホテルの脇の坂を3分ほど上がるとすぐ聖誕教会）、ベツレヘム市内を一望できるテラスがあり、夕暮れどきの眺めが最高です。 アメニティや室内の設備についてもハンドメイドのクリームやカトラリーが並び、心躍るものがありました。 少々値は張りますがサービスの良さとオーナーの心遣いに本当に感動したので、もし再びベツレヘム・エルサレムを訪れる際にはぜひこちらを利用したいと思いました。

Vietimme kaksi yötä jouluaaton ympärillä Betlehemissä. Hotelli oli nappivalinta. Sijainti aivan ytimessä juhlapaikalla, Seimiaukiolla, Jeesuksen syntymäkirkon vieressä. Hotelli itsessään oli kokemus. Suvun hallussa satoja vuosia ollut talo oli saneerattu viehättävästi. Isäntä Nabil huolehti suurella sydämellä vieraista, joista monet palaavat hotelliin uudelleen ja uudelleen. Aamiainen monipuolinen, jonka kruunasi isännän omalla reseptillä paistamat kananmunat. Matkailijalle myös tärkeää, että isäntä puhui englantia ja saksaa. Lisäksi talvisin viileähkössä säässä lämmityksestä saattoi huolehtia huonekohtaisella ilmalämpöpumpulla.

Extraordinaire rencontre
Cet hôtel s'apparente plus à des chambre d'hôtes qu'à un véritable hôtel et c'est tant mieux ! Un peu difficile à trouver dans une ruelle piétonne. Un accueil hors paire avec attentions de chaque instants, belle et spacieuse chambre très propre. Propriétaire qui nous prête son propre garage dans le village d'à côté pour stationner notre voiture et nous fais la navette gratuitement... Petit déjeuné hors normes avec une vingtaine de plats maison... Bref exceptionnel, et à 50m de l'église de la nativité, à recommander 200% !
