I’ll never stay at the Luxor again. Casino staff was very rude to my son who just turned 21 and to the rest of our family. I get it, you have to check Id’s, but how they went about it was unnecessary and rude. We came to celebrate him. But instead, felt discriminated against, Now to the hotel …we’re all use to paying extra for a “resort fee”. Ok, that’s fine. Charge me for things I’ll never use. But if that’s the expectation, I should expect exceptional customer service upon checking in and out. Instead, everything was automated, and we ended up having to talk to staff member anyway on where to go so we could print “2” door keys. The whole check in/out process was a joke. Could you imagine how frustrated guests are that don’t rely upon or live on their phones? I tried to check out 15 minutes prior to my check out time. I tried calling the front desk like every other hotel I can call to check out at, but the Luxor it all animated. The automated message told me I can check out on the tv. That’s fine if the tv check out process actually worked. Instead, I got a blue screen and an error message that said “ This feature is currently unavailable. Please call the front desk for assistance.” Well how’s that for service while being “forced” to pay for resort fees and parking.
