Good location near an easy-to-find piazza and it's minutes away from the bustle around the very popular Santa Maria del Fiore. It's also really close to the Palazzo Vecchio if you want to visit the Uffizi Galleries. No need to get a cab from the train station: it's a 5 minute walk with your luggage. The hotel is great for first time visitors to Firenze.

From the moment of arrival to leaving, we felt warmly looked after with exceptional attention. The hotel is in a wonderful position in that you do not need to use a car once you are there as everything is workable. Charming little Paradise on the edge of everything in Portofino.

Fantastic Breakfast!! Staff was excellent. Wi-Fi worked great. I would have liked more information in the room about the Hotel and the town. I drove there and they had parking!!! Very hard to find. The room was full of ants and other small insects. I was staying in the middle of Tuscany wine country, I would expect my room to have a corkscrew and at least glass glasses. The room only had flimsy plastic cups.
