Enjoy boating, kayaking, fishing, or simply relaxing from expansive outdoor spaces. Whether gathering with family or escaping for a peaceful getaway, this premier lakefront destination delivers the ultimate Big Bear experience.
    Check-In:
    Welcome to your A-Chalet property! Please ensure you complete the welcome submission form before your arrival. Thank you for your cooperation.

    Pets:
    We welcome up to 2 dogs with a $75 pet fee per stay. To keep our space clean and comfortable for all guests, please:
    • Keep dogs off furniture and beds.
    • Crate dogs if you leave them unattended on the property.
    • Ensure dogs are always on a leash when outside and close by to avoid any incidents.
    Please pickup after your dog.

    Trash Disposal:
    • Bagged Trash: All trash must be securely bagged and disposed of offsite at one of the designated free trash sites:
    • Clean Bear Site #1: 41970 Garstin Drive, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
    • Clean Bear Site #2: 39690 Big Bear Boulevard, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
    • Fee for Non-Compliance: A $65 fee will be charged per trash bag left behind.

    Fireplace Usage:
    We have a gas insert and electric fireplace located in living room and primary.

    Kitchen Cleanup:
    We kindly ask that you clean the kitchen after meals. This includes rinsing and placing dishes in the dishwasher. Excessive cleaning may result in an additional fee.

    BBQ Use:
    Please enjoy the outdoor grill but ensure:
    • The grill is cleaned after each use.
    • The propane tank valve is turned off after use.
    • Failure to clean the grill or refill propane may result in a $100 fee.

    Thermostat Settings:
    Set the thermostat to your desired temperature during your stay. Before checkout, kindly set it back to 65° to conserve energy.

    Spa Guidelines:
    For a safe and enjoyable spa experience:
    • Rinse off before using the spa to prevent oil and makeup build-up.
    • Return the spa to 100° after use.
    • If the water becomes murky, additionally fees may apply for a dump and refill.
    • Ensure the spa cover is sealed and clipped tightly when not in use.

The place was beautiful, conveniently located by almost everything you could want when vacationing, views were amazing and really memorable!! It was stocked with alot of extra thoughtful items to use which was very appreciated. The host was very kind and responded with reasonable time. My family had a great experience and the private dock was definitely a bonus for fishing!! Only thing I would say is the bugs are crazy at night and there's piles of them on screens if you rent in summer (host had off spray, even though I brought my own) but it's expected given your by lake, but should be noted in case. Overall I would definitely book this property again and rate it an excellent lake rental property, with thoughtful host is a plus!! Thanks again for helping us build great family memories!!! I will definitely book again in future!
