Great family friendly property!
Our family visited from the UK, and spent our Christmas at Eagle Ridge - and it was a pleasure! The house is a great size and our family enjoyed every aspect of it, from the hot tub to its nice open fire.
All our issues were well handled and there was always someone on hand to help us with any questions, or problems we had.
If you're thinking about staying here, go for it!
Beautiful home in gorgeous neighborhood. Very spacious, nice view. My only complaint is no A/C or ceiling fans with temps in the 90’s, made it difficult to sleep. Otherwise, loved our stay.
Property was clean and well maintained. Views and location were great. Check in process was smooth and contactless. Management was always very responsive and available. Jennifer was awesome! She did everything she could to make our stay great. A few notes, the heater was not working properly, towels were limited, no trash bags,, no fire wood and no WiFi for 2 and half days......that's very difficult with kids and work needs. Great stay overall as we make the best of things
I recently lost a child, my husband and family wanted to have a celebration for the child we lost. It was a needed getaway and I loved the space the cabin offer for us all!
The cabin was amazing! But I do have a few cons 😔
#1 No baby gates to stairways
#2 Balcony Railing poles missing
#Inside temp was 79 degrees all weekend!!!
This property was in an ideal location and just the right size. Unfortunately for a property that is listed as a 5 bedroom and occupancy of 15 the amenities were sparse. The kitchen lacked on the quantity and quality of items in it. We planned on cooking most days and it was difficult with the cooking amenities and dishes provided in the home. There were also many things that needed standard maintenance or fixing; (window coverings/screens not operational/broken, light fixtures broken, light bulbs burnt out, ice maker didn't work, broken patio chairs, bath tub didn't drain properly). There was also no manual or informational booklet at the property so we didn't know how to operate the heater, door locks, etc. Overall this property lacked in many ways and we would not return.
The neighborhood is beautiful. Checkin was fine. The house itself is beautiful with great fixtures. Upon entry we noticed a large puddle in the lower bunk room with water leaking down the log walls. We called and requested towels be brought to clean up the water. Towels were delivered quickly as there were no extras to use to clean up the mess. This downstairs bunk room does not appear to be connected to the house heating.
The kitchen supply’s were lacking. There were three small bowls for our group of 12 and one teaspoon and two tablespoons. All the hot pads were burnt with holes. The main floor microwave had a display broken so they had an extra microwave on the counter. The front kitchen window no longer had blinds or curtains and blinds in the master were being held together with painters blue tape. There had a t some point been a spitball fight in the house with toilet paper. In various places throughout the house we found these stuck on the walls. Small ants were also present in the kitchen and livingroom.
The towels and sheets smelled clean and were all matching so maybe they are done through a laundry service. The washer and dryer also functioned well and there was detergent and fabric softener available.
On evening 3 of our 5 night stay the hot water heater gave out also causing the radiant flooring to die. Since this is how the house is heated and the temp. was in the teens the house was very cold. I called first thing in the morning to let them know that the pilot light was out on the water heater and would not re-light. They sent a plumber who arrived and also could not fix it. It appears there has been many problems with the water heater in the past with a camera on the unit notification screen along with spare and old parts surrounding the unit. We were told the unit couldn’t be fixed and asked if we wanted to move properties for the final night of our stay. We requested space heaters that were provided and took cold showers or heated water on the stove to wash as best we could.
The garage also contains a ton of broken furniture that has been removed from the house, so that was fitting with the water heater parts graveyard as well.
I requested a call after checkout to discuss my concerns with the management company and have not been contacted to date.
The house allowed our group of 12 to stay together. While we did enjoy ourselves the house certainly was not in a condition to be rented right away at what we paid to stay.
I had a wonderful time staying at this home. I went with family and friends. We all enjoyed it and left with no complaints. It is placed in wonderful location, it is next the lake and the grocery stores are walking distances. Over all great home and experience.
The property was great! Nicely cleaned. Very spacious. Food took a little while longer to cook on the stove, other than that, everything was great! Big house for plenty of people + outdoor seating
This Cabin is a winter wonderland! Close to the ski resorts and within walking distance to the lake and grocery store (maybe not in winter). The cabin is cozy, beautiful and located in a lovely neighborhood.
Great location house nice but stairs to loft area dangerous terrible stove
Over all nice home to accommodate a larger group of people

The house was amazing with great views!
This house was simply amazing. It had everything the description said and more to meet my family's needs. Beautiful views and very nicely decorated. All the amenities we needed to have great family vacation. We enjoyed the spa a few times and gathered around in the large open living room for games. Check in and out was easy and quick. I highly recommend this house and it will definitely be our first choice for our family vacations to Big Bear!

Great location
We stayed at the Eagle Ridge Retreat for two days during 4th of July . Overall, we had a great experience! The cabin is spacious and beautiful! Pretty well equipped. Loved the location! Just a few steps down the hill and we were able to watch fireworks from a bourgeois view. The staff , at the check in was very nice and helpful . They were a little late on getting our cabin ready, but it didn't bother us too much. Although I wish , they'd be more flexible on check in / check out times.
