This beautifully decorated home with its spectacular views is unlike any other in Big Bear Lake. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac on Inspiration Point at the far reaches of Boulder Bay, the views are breathtaking from every direction. Expect an 'over the top' experience when staying in this home. The unique living space offers a cozy and comfortable cabin feeling. The beautiful full round hand peeled logs, the hardwood floors, granite counter tops and comfortable furniture boasts a true mountain home experience. The outdoor patio with fireplace is where you will probably spend much of your time enjoying the view and relaxing as you listen to the mountain sounds next to a crackling fire. The lower patio is a perfect place to relax in an Adirondack chair with your feet up as you watch the 'Pirate Ship' or 'Big Bear Queen' tour boats go by -- have your camera ready! If you are a sun worshiper, you'll enjoy the 3rd patio lakeside, or better yet, go ahead and walk out onto the dock to be even closer to all of the lake action -- fishing, boating, boarding, tubing, kayaking and swimming. As evening approaches, have your camera ready again because you will see some of the most beautiful sunsets ever.

Visit The Village with all of its unique shops and quaint restaurants. Take advantage of countless hiking and biking trails and other attractions. Whatever you like, we are sure you will make wonderful memories at 'The Grand on Inspiration Point' in Big Bear Lake -- Southern California's only Four Season getaway.

*This home has many steps inside and outside. We are not able to accommodate wheelchairs. Elderly and those with walkers might find it difficult to move freely throughout this house.

The perfect holiday getaway home

The Grand provided the perfect home for my family of 5 adults to spend our Christmas. It was clean, spacious, beautifully located and furnished and had everything we needed to make our stay great. We always stay at another cabin next door on the lake. Beautiful view lake views breathtaking. Cabin is large enough for many. Kids had a blast playing pool and enjoying all that white snow out back. Beautiful property

A bit of heaven on earth

After coming here annually starting nine years ago, it still feels like experiencing it for the first time. Great home, best host, helpful check-in personnel. The home is always nice and clean. I hope my picture tells it all. It's a view from the balcony after a great day on the lake.

Wonderful lake view house

We had to best time with our friends and our kids in Big Bear. The house was perfect for staying in, cooking and sitting by the fire. Our kids had a blast playing in the snow around the house. Great location and amazing views! Felt like a winter wonderland!

Our wonderful family thanksgiving in the mountains

We were so pleased when we walked in the door and it looked just like the pictures! We all felt very comfortable, plenty of room for all, the kids loved the basement and spa. An absolute stunner when it comes to the view and caliber of real estate… truly an unmatched piece property on the lake in Big Bear, and centrally located to everything you need in the village. Seeing this view, our group felt like we were in a VRBO commercial. We knew it was going to be a good stay, but not THIS good. Home was large, yet had a very comfortable feel, both for the adults and kids. Owner was very communicative and accommodating. Sad to leave but we absolutely plan to return. 10/10 across the board.

Great Log Cabin

Great get a way from Arizona heat. This house has all the amenities and provides a nice confortable living condition. Great fire pit, nice hot tub for evening relaxing. The township has alot of enforceable rules in terms of quite hours and garbage disposal that must be strictly followed. If you are one that follows rules, then you should have no problem booking this special cabin in the hills.

Coming here, to this rental house, has become a tradition. The best dock to fish from. Our catch was 81 trout. As always, the house is great, so clean and comfortable; our host is very attentive, and the check-in personnel are always helpful and courteous. This may be the best house on the lake!

This house has everything. Fabulous location and magical sunsets. We truly enjoyed all things at “The Grand.” While the check in process in Big Bear is a bit different and cumbersome, the host makes this process as painless as possible with great communication from the very beginning. Barb was thorough and did everything to ensure our stay was great. The house is truly magnificent and there is so much pride that went into the build on this property. When my guest stated,”this place looks like Disneyland with the attention to detail” you know this property is unlike no other. The views from every window, patio, and balcony are stunning.

Best vaca at the Lake ever

This was our first trip to Big Bear Lake and couldn’t have been more impressed with the “Grand” property and all it has to offer. We had two families staying, kids ages 13-17. Enjoyed the hot tub with amazing views, the convenience of the private dock which we used to have chartered boat activities and relaxed out on every day. We thought ahead and brought a few good travel chairs and heavy duty poolside umbrella with weighted stand to have out on the dock to provide shade, it worked out perfectly and highly recommend. It can get a bit rocky with wake turbulence and some wind, but the umbrella held up well and never moved or fell over. Overall the house is extremely spacious with gorgeous views of the lake throughout. The covered patio just off the kitchen was the adults favorite spot for meals and conversing. We all can’t wait to go back!

Big Bear Family Trip at The Grand

My family felt truly at home while staying at the very comfortable and well-appointed The Grand at Big Bear Lake. The panoramic views of the lake can be seen from every room of the home! The private dock, where we spent much of our weekend time, allowed us to hang out while boating and swimming. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking tools and with everything a family needs to enjoy meals at this unique home. While we visited the Village, we preferred to be at home, at The Grand and not miss our family time and the lakeside activity. In the morning, we enjoyed coffee on one of the many deck spaces overlooking the lake. The bluejays came visiting making our mornings very connected to nature. And in the evening, my family loved playing pool in the game room. Whether we were boating on the lake, taking a long walk in the beautiful neighborhood, or simply taking in the views of Big Bear Lake, we all enjoyed our stay. Staying at The Grand made for a very special weekend. In appreciation.

Great for families

We had an amazing experience staying here due to the prime location and home amenities. Our kids have never fished before and loved fishing every morning and afternoon right off the dock. They all caught fish and had the time of their life. Sitting on the dock at sunset and relaxing with a glass of wine and 3 kids under 9 years old fishing was perfect. Our kids jumped off the dock in front of the home all day, every day...and when it was slightly cold, they just ran up into the hot tub. We planned many daytime activities but ate pretty much every meal at the house. The kitchen and grill were more than expected. They have everything you would need for family dinners and the nook right outside the kitchen was a special place for dinner. We could enjoy the calm of the lake while eating dinner outside. The outdoor fireplace added extra ambience. Every night we roasted smores at the fire pit while enjoying a cocktail. The kids reminisced about their day while we wound down as a family. It was an amazing experience.

The Most Awesome Family 'Cabin' - E V E R!

If you want a retreat for some quality family time, this is the place! My 2 daughters, husbands & 4 children, ages 3-13, and I all thoroughly enjoy being together in this superbly-comfortable (to say the least!), spacious (and I mean s p a c i o u s!), convenient, safe, clean and just plain fun home. This was our 2nd visit. Everyone was anxious to return after our first visit, and we plan to come again. We spend our days playing games at the large kitchen table, cooking (the kitchen has all the hardware you will need!), talking, laughing, playing pool, fishing (for the 13 yr old), sitting in the spa and by the peaceful lake, and, during the summer, playing in the lake. There is something for everybody, and everything is conveniently located right there on the property. And when you need some down-time, there are plenty of quiet places to be alone for a while.Also, the views from virtually every part of the property, both inside and out, are superb. The sunsets and long twilight will take your breath away. You get the idea - this place has everything you need for some serious family bonding. When your time is up, you will not want to leave.
