This property has an amazing sun rise, Big Canoe is a beautiful area. Cabin was great. Some minor house keeping & maintenance issues, which I have already been in contact with the management company. Would definitely go back!
My wife turned 40 and we took the kids and pups to stay in the greatest community North Georgia has to offer. We love coming up here and the view that this house gives is breath taking and the walk around the top of the mountain is beyond perfect. Love the house and Big Canoe.

Lacks attention to details.
Property management company runs the rental and frankly not up to par for the money.
I paid for what was advertised but got less. Funky smell in main bath, because toilet brush left in bathroom has probably not been switched out in years. Sliding glass door off tracks and had to have maintenance come. Outdoor fire put had broken knob and could not light firepit. Indoor fireplace(advertised) had no wood but firestarters. Management company did not indicate to bri g your own wood. So you stay for a weekend and had missed out on the ambience and full use of what was advetised as a mountain cabin. Cobwebs everywhere. Oh but there is more. They were sure to remind me with their notices and rules of where I was going to be fined or have fees assessed. I shouldnt have to be calling the management company on these items and annoy me with insincere apologies.

Should not be rented in current condition!
What was planned as a relaxing getaway in the mountains for myself, my husband, and our two teen daughters, ended up being a “grin and bear it“ situation. The upstairs shower did not work and worse, there was no hot water to the entire house! The gas tank that you are required to disconnect from the grill and move through the inside of the house to the fire table and connect it was not enough to make the fire table work as the ignition is broken. The dishwasher, even after being run three times, washed nothing. There is no working lock on the back porch sliding door, so we needed to put a fire poker in the track to ensure it would not open. The house was filthy, with dead insects, acorns from rodents, Balls of hair, garbage, etc. Dishes and pans needed to be washed before use. In freezing water. The property manager does respond to text, but when so many problems arise, they take their time. The first day we were told all day and evening that a “work order“ would be made. What that meant for us I have no idea as the next day I heard that all day as well Before I finally got a quick “we are sorry” and another offer for a work order to be made. At that point, we requested the work be done the next day after we left as we only had one day to try to relax. Lights were burned out everywhere, and the outside is completely dark With a treacherous walk for any pets you might bring. We chose this place for somewhat of a “glamping” experience, but we would not return.
