"Laundry facilities were excellent and affordable. Pool was nice. Carpet needs replaced in the room we had as it was bubbling up in places. The main stairwell was being refinished so it looks like some modernization is taking place. Breakfast was really good and different each day. Overall very enjoyable stay."

"9 of us stayed 3 nights in this GEM for my 50th bday. The pictures don't do it justice! It is beautiful inside and out. From the majestic 353 year old tree named Fern that welcomes you to the details in and around the home, the reviews are legit! Book it! Details like refrigerated creamer at all 3 coffee stations on each floor, each with plenty of coffee mugs, even the carafe filled with water on the master suite. Great quality silverware, plates and glassware. A plethora of towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies, toiletry extras. The house was pristine when I arrived, AC already cool to cover the 100 heat index. Other things we loved: The SONOS sound system. Download the app, no need to sign up, just connect to WiFi and control all 4 levels of very high end sound in LR, downstairs, deck and pool(speakers surround the pool). Very easy to switch who's djing and have varying volume levels. The 12 person dining table had the best vibe for meals.Backyard sunsets on the Vernon River were magical. We brought chairs and blankets and soaked in golden hour. Huge yard. The river is a tidal river so water flows in & out. Not a good put in for water sports you would need to go to a normal put in. The downstairs BR apartment is so cool! I almost chose that one. 2 of the BR are couch beds are they are comfy. Of note: you walk THRU one couch BR to get to Master. Left a pricey item(Lola blanket), called them & got that plus 2 other discovered items gladly shipped on my . Great host! A!"

"Tanya was working the front desk when we checked in. She was very friendly and helpful. When booking the room, I failed to realize there was no elevator, however, Tanya got us moved to a 1st floor room. Breakfast was your typical motel breakfast. The pool was clean. The parking lot could use a little more drainage for the AC units. The room was spacious and clean. The first morning, the housekeeper didn’t see the DND sign and knocked. But it was ok, we were awake and were able to go ahead and get extra towels. Overall, I would stay there again."

"Where to begin! Moon River is absolutely amazing! There were 8 of us in our group and there was more than enough space for all of us to gather and eat and socialize together both inside the house and outside on the beautiful patio and deck. The beds were comfortable and the beautiful home was equipped with everything we needed for a 5 night stay. Downtown Savannah was only 20 minutes away and Tybee island was about 40 minutes. We were excited to tour both of those locations but we honestly had the best time just hanging out at the house enjoying the beautiful pool and taking the provided kayaks out from the dock. Our favorite moments were seeing the dolphins at play during the breathtaking sunsets and enjoying the sunrise with our coffee while sitting out on the back patio. Our host, Lisa, was wonderful! She responded to our questions promptly and made sure we were settled and comfortable during our stay. We look forward to staying again in the future!"
