The space
The apartment is located in a downtown historic building, there is a restaurant and wedding venue in the beautiful building. Like any downtown area there is a variety of pedestrian traffic in the area, from nearby offices and restaurants.
Guest access
Guests will access the building with a key fob and access the apartment itself with a unique code. You will need to retrieve a key fob from a lock box prior to accessing the building.
Other things to note:
Two Twin Rollaway beds are located in the bedroom closet to be used in the living room for extra guests. All guests must be disclosed in the booking prior to arrival.
Parking:
Parking is provided in an open/designated lot next to the building. There is no gate. Guests park at their own risks, we are not responsible for theft, damage, to vehicle or contents.
The curtains in the bedroom were too heavy for the wall, they have been removed and replaced with internal window black out roller shades.
Elevator:
If for whatever reason both elevators are not working guests understand they must take the stairs and are okay with that. Listing is located on the 20th floor.

Neat place!

The family and I traveled to a supercross show at protective stadium and this was right down the street. Top floor of a historic building! The host was very communicative. Would definitely recommend!

Quick stay for Talladega race

Nice clean apartment in a cool area of town. Great views of the city. Tons of food options, even a food truck right out the front doors. Only 45 mins to Talladega. Property manager was great to work with and quick responses to messages.

Great Experience

This was my 3rd time staying in TJ Tower but 1st in this unit. I was here all week for work, and ended up having to extend my stay due to Winter Storm Cora. Sarah was super helpful, responsive, and completely understanding about my situation. Having a market on level 1 also comes in handy if/when you need something you may have forgotten. I'll definitely book again if I come back to Bham!

Highrise Downtown Birmingham

Did not feel the neighborhood was safe. You have to go in the back entrance from an isolated parking lot to access the building. However, apparently there is a 24 hours security guard on duty for the building and parking lot. Once inside the lobby, looked to maybe be under construction. Very cool old building. Once inside unit, everything ok. Be aware the floors looked to be the original concrete floors, just sealed, Large pile of used towels and washcloths behind bathroom door laying on the floor. Bed was comfortable.

Easiest stay I've ever had.

First off, the host is very helpful and easy to communicate with. They've built an entire step by step website with everything you need to make sure you're taken care of. The space is clean, open, well laid out, and well stocked. There's a fair amount of things within walking distance; we found a nice little taqueria right down the street. Our car was safe, we were safe, and the views were nice. I would for sure come back here, thank you!

Fantastic location

My GF and I wanted a spot near the Lyric Theater, and this was perfect. The owner Sarah was great, making sure we had everything we needed. Would def recommend to anyone staying in downtown B'ham.

Wonderful property manager!!

Was in town for a show and a few appointments. Sarah is a wonderful property manager and incredibly attentive! Unfortunately the weather affected some of the electrical elements on the property during our stay, completely unforeseen. Sarah messaged daily and worked with maintenance, to ensure our stay remained as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much, Sarah, for your attentiveness and for sharing your space! Small downtown vibe

We enjoyed our stay in the Penthouse! It was as described in the listing. We were in town for a wedding and chose just to stay inside and chill. There was enough room for the 4 of us. We walked to Pizitz Food Hall to eat and walked to eat breakfast at Nelson Bros. Cafe. Great hostess!!

We had a weekend long event to attend at the Alabama Theatre and this property couldn’t have been more perfect. Did not have to move my car all weekend! It was less than a 5 minute walk to the theatre

Penthouse perfect!

Just as advertised, the penthouse is very nice, completely renovated and perfect for a great get-away. Communication and instructions are outstanding, and we will definitely keep this on our short list of places to stay in Birmingham!

Greatest Trip Ever

Visited Birmingham for the first time. The tower is near everything. I was able to see the museum of art, and the Civil Rights Institute. The Host was very helpful by recommending food spots and attractions. 10/10

Great place to stay

We stayed one night after an Alabama game in Tuscaloosa. It was a short drive and it was everything we needed for the one night. The owner was very accommodating and the apt was clean and comfy.

Wonderful view

Clean and comfortable. The Roots and Revel restaurant was excellent. The views were amazing. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Check I. Process was a little difficult but once we got it. It was ok.

The property is centrally located in the downtown area. The host Sarah was very accessible and helpful during my stay. She checked in periodically to make sure my stay was going well. The guide for things to do in the area was very helpful:) The parking was good and the security guard presence was seen. He was very friendly.
