"A great stay, lovely suite which was huge. Beds were very comfortable and the hotel was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Breakfast was adequate if not inspiring, but overall would stay here again!"

Birmingham is a wonderful place, but pockets that used to be vibrant and beautiful, such as 5 Points, are not being taken care of the way it used to be. Seemed dirty, unsafe and too many homeless people on the sidewalks. Such a shame.

This is a kind city with friendly, smiling people. Very quiet downtown area and has no traffic. Visit the botanical gardens for the serenity. The airport is easy to navigate and not crowded.

We enjoyed spending about 2 hours see Vulcan Park & Museum.. really fun view from the top, and an interesting way to preserve the history of forging iron in this important southern town!

Go to the Barber Motorsports Museum! Have a beer at Dave's! Get great Indian food at the Bay Leaf! Oh and Dutch babies at The Original Pancake House!

We avoided I20 as much as possible. It got really busy. Try Ruffner Mountain. Great walking trails. Rainbow tunnel sucks. Vulcan is a must see.

The celebration at Rickwood Field was amazing. The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute was educational and emotional. A must visit!

Lots of renovating and gentrification going on .many new restaurants and bars are popping up. Just be choosy in what part of town you go to. We hit some great restaurants and bars around town . People are super friendly all over Bham ,.

"Everything about this hotel was perfect.
Breakfast was great everyday we were there, ac in the rooms was cold. Shower was great. Beds were very comfy, rooms were clean. Pool was nice as well. Staff was very nice as well. It was the perfect spot. Thank you! "
"Check in was rough due to computer problems but the room and hospitality was excellent. The prices in the mini mart are beyond gouging. You would think they'd treat customers fairly but instead they get all they can. Room was great comfortable and quiet. Bedding and towels all very clean or new. One lady at front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had coffee and a requested item. Front desk needs to conduct themselves professionally at all times. I watched a Manager chew out an employee which was embarrassing for both of us and in my opinion unnecessary. "
