Went got my luggage came back up key didn’t work knocked on door someone opened it up with family in there. They sold the room that quickly. 4th finally was somewhat good enough to stay in. "The people at the hotel were so incredible. I asked one morning about whether the water in the room was complementary or if we had to pay. I think it was the manager of the hotel, not only told me it was complementary, but he went and got me more water. I was really disappointed though, because the pool was not working, and I had no idea when we booked the hotel. "

"My reservation was somehow cancelled, but not by me. My payment to Hotels.com was processed on 2/19/26 for a 2 night stay on 3/13 and 3/14. A week later my son was in the hospital in Anniston, AL on life support so I tried to cancel through Hotels.com while not being able to talk to a human. Their website told me they would attempt to contact the hotel to cancel and if the hotel didn’t charge them, they wouldn’t charge me. I received 2 emails over the next few days saying they had tried multiple times to contact the hotel but couldn’t, and so I would not be refunded. I called the hotel multiple times and was told they had no problem cancelling but they couldn’t canceling and not charging, but Hotels.com had to do that. I never cancelled the reservation. In the mean time, my son was transferred to UAB hospital in Birmingham which was where my reservation was for. I called to hotel and talked to the manager who told me that the reservation was cancelled by a lady in their sales department but they were now booked up for those nights. She offered that she could get me a room at another one of their sister properties but I’d have to pay for it and was going to be over $600. So it looks like this hotel and Hotel.com both got their $ from me and the hotel was able to double dip by booking my room on top of that. Unbelievable! "
