"We arrived at the Hotel at around 3:50 waited in line to check in ,twenty minutes there was only one attendant, I was told my room wasn’t ready and I would need to wait 15 minutes and also that parking was unavailable! after waiting another 45 minutes I was told my room still wasn’t ready as I began to walk away I summoned back to the desk and told my room was ready it’s 4:45 ish now. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable."

"I don't know where to start with this. It was so many things wrong with this property with the amount of money spent. I think my my biggest complaint is the young lady at the front desk and I didn't have any wash cloths or towels in my room. "

"The staff was helpful at all times. The only minor issue I had was that the electronic locks to the front door and my room door sometimes took several tries to open, which was a little frustrating but not a big issue "

"Very welcoming. Trudie help us so much. My husband is in a wheelchair and we were there for an appt at UAB. She went out of her way to help us. She helped carry our luggage to her room and also provided information on restaurants and even helped me download a delivery app for DoorDash. I appreciate that type of concern so much especially when you have a sick loved one and you’re the only caregiver. Thank you so much Trudy and Springhill Marriott. We are a frequent flyer there and will continue to stay there on our visits."

"The entire experience was horrible. The hotel was under construction, no mention of that when I booked the room. The entrance/valet area was an absolute nightmare. No parking lot to park, you can park on the street and risk having you car broken into by the homeless people. Or pay a fortune to valet. Then you walk into the hotel and you greeted by a piece of drywall. The reception area was cramped, dirty and frankly uninviting. The room was tiny. Everything about this hotel was deceptive and disappointing. "

"Had a handicapped assessable. There wasn’t a pull down bench in the shower. The A/C unit was very loud. Plunked each time it came on. Staff was great but had problems with the computer program during check in and again on check out. Do not get a room on the street side. Traffic is very loud."

"It was a Nice hotel, fantastic burgers and the bar tender was very pleasant. The only complaint would be the street noise. It was constant, all night which made it hard to sleep. Oh, and there is a train close by but I would have preferred the train over the Fast and Furious outside our window. Make sure you have something to block out noise at night."
