Luiz at the front desk was amazingly compassionate, kind, and helpful. We arrived with a big problem to solve and he was instrumental in the solution. The location is very central, across from the Cathedral, but even on the second floor noise was not a problem. The room faces west and sunsets over the city were beautiful from our windows.

Nice location, hotel is good too. Breakfast is fine, nothing too different! I gave a four rather than a five star as i didn’t find the hotel staff too welcoming and courteous. On day 2 i had to ask for room cleaning a couple of times and it was done past 6pm inspite of me putting the tag outside. I came back in the afternoon and room was not cleaned. Apart from that hotel is good, location is great

We had the most wonderful stay here for 3 days over easter. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, every part of it is carefully thought out. The decor is gorgeous, rooms spacious with lovely high ceilings and it is immaculately clean. The grounds are stunning, service and staff exceptional, i cannot think of one negative thing about our stay. Breakfast was also excellent and dinner in the restaurant the same with very reasonable pricing too for a 5 star hotel. A couple of minutes walk away are a couple of pleasant local restaurants and if you have a car, lots of hikes nearby. We loved every minute of our stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Loved the hotel. We were there off season, but would still have loved the rooftop bar to have a little more activity.
