Rocky Shore Cabin - Flanders Pond

"Host was delightful and helpful. Location was right on a beautiful lake/pond. It was a little chilly and the outdoor fire pit was great. The a/c heater inside worked great as did the hot water heater. The cabin was a little hard to find late at night but once we got help and went in/out it was no problem. Overall a very nice place for R&R for a few days!"

"We did not like having to leave. We would gladly stay here longer when we visit the area again. For us, the location was ideal for visiting Acadia and getting to groceries and general needs away from the NPS tourism area. This place is so cool, imaginative, and unique. It is a working farm with all the fun of life included at no extra cost. This is not a catered dude ranch style place. Becka is a wonderful person and host. She is accommodating and not intrusive at the same time. Thank you."
Pond House - Donnell's Pond in Franklin, Maine

"Paula's Pond House provides the perfect balance of being tucked away in a quiet corner of a pond - for those total peace and quiet unplugging days - and a rather easy, scenic drive to MDI, Schoodic Peninsula, and all the surrounding towns for exploring, shopping, and dining. We arrived expecting to be in Acadia most of the trip, but in the end the kayaks, firepit, hammock, and overall warmth of the place kept us close and content a lot more than planned - and we're very thankful for it!"

Fall in Love with Maine-A Dog-Friendly Escape on Tunk Pond

"The property was as expected. The kitchen has utensils that we were able to use. We were able to cook. The lake is beautiful. They were paddle board and kayak and life jackets available and we're able to utilize them. They were lots if blankets available, The cabin is very clean. We encounter tiny mishaps which the host were promt at responding when we reached out. We would recommend this cabin to anyone."

"The property is perfectly clean and they did a great job designing it. Perfect for a couple that wants to sit, read a great book and relax. Unfortunately we were not able to stay once we arrived. We had a misunderstanding upon booking. But the owner took care of everything immediately and refunded our money 100%. So I really appreciate that. About 45 min to Bar Harbour but very close to one of the entrances to Acadia. If you are looking for a peaceful stop, this is your place."

"The bungalow was exactly as described. If you are looking for simplistic without all the bells and whistles this is the perfect place. Very relaxing and peaceful. And the host was available with any questions I had. It was an amazing stay."

"Truly a special piece of property on a stunning lake …… super private and remote location but with all the comforts of home including solid WiFi, TV with streaming services . Plenty of room for family and friends. Schoodic Point and Acadia in Bar Harbor are a must visit bring your phones and cameras! THX Jim!"
