"Beautiful stay. Kids were playing on the beach and we didn’t have ti bring them in and get them cleaned up for dinner. We ordered right there on the patio and they came in all sandy and happy and we ate dinner right there. It was a wonderful stay."

"I loved the place. Clean, great breakfast, great staff. One reason why i gave it 4 stars was because the darn air conditioner outside my room was broken and woke me up in the middle of the night. It was so loud. It woke up my friend in the next room. Just seemed to be a small but important thing to get fixed."

"I had a great experience at this beautiful property. The room decor and interior design are stunning. The grounds are perfectly maintained. The staff is very attentive, helpful and responsive. The butterfly and horse touches throughout were really nice for me personally as I love both. Very charming place stay if you want tranquility and a perfect location in La Jolla."

"We booked this lovely home for our family vacation (8 adults, 3 primary school-aged children). The house is close to the beach, restaurants, shopping and local transit (bus). The hosts provided beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, umbrellas and a beach wagon, so trips to the beach are simplified. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans and other kitchen equipment so it is easy to make dinner when you want a home-cooked meal.Note that two of the five bedrooms are detached from the main house. This is a plus or minus depending on whether you prefer to be “close to the action”. Extra floor mattresses were provided in case the kids did not want to share a bed.Claire, our host, responded quickly to resolve some minor problems that arose. We felt welcomed and well cared for. We would book again."
