"The place is great for access to Davis (literally 2 min walk to “main street”) and area hiking. Basically brand new everything inside. The bed was better than average. The furniture is average comfort but usable. Small kitchen area that is good enough - although cooking homemade meals there will be a challenge. Washer and dryer were a great bonus especially after hiking. No issues with wifi. The place is hard to find in the dark the first time - but other otherwise great stay. There is an apartment upstairs, and at times you can’t hear people walking around. It didn’t bother me but a heads up for others. No real complaints outside of that. Highly recommend."

"Wow! What a great house! It is quite evident that the host cares about the property and the experience of their guests. The property is well furnished and stocked - it has everything you will need. The rooms are comfortable and the views are amazing! The full windows give you a beautiful view of the river. Would definitely recommend and will plan to return as we are able!"

"Excellent location walking distance to restaurants, town and nearby pubs and a lovely art gallery called the Wachs gallery and garden is across the street. House has everything you need. Top kitchen appliances you will cook like you are in your own home or leave wanting to remodel your own kitchen. The beds were super comfortable as were the linens and pillows! Master bedroom has an amazing view of the river. Nathalie made our stay super easy with check in and check out process and answered all our questions before arrival.The home is on the Black River which has a walking path so you can also take a lovely stroll to the nearby park with a pavilion and river side seating. There is hiking, biking, fishing, skiing depending on the time of year everything is super close by."

"We didn't get the original house we confirmed, but ended up with a great house. The only slight issue we had was that there was no AC and it was during a heat wave. There were ceiling fans and 1 box fan available, but it was a bit hot for the first few days."
