- Welcome to River Retreat! The house is on 1 acre, and is right on the Nottely River. You can tube down the river, kayak or fish for rainbow trout right off the gazebo/ deck on the river. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains and towering trees. A true nature lover’s paradise. You will feel like you are sitting in a treehouse while on the back deck. Waterfalls, hiking trails, downtown Blairsville, state parks, are all minutes from the cabin! Close to Vogel State Park, Brasstown Bald, Blue Ridge railway, etc. 5 night minimum during holiday season. Lic# 033210
