"Absolutely fine, was welcomed by a thoroughly nice chap who checked us in etc. Room was up in the rafters but was nice, comfortable bed and a magnificent bathtub. Spent an hour in the bar and enjoyed that, drinks were reasonable price and it seemed to be quite full. Had to leave at 06:00 to catch ferry so didn’t eat breakfast. Only negative was the toilet seat was quite loose and I felt a little uneasy sitting on the pan, expecting it to slip off at any second. Absolute not a show-stopper...

We booked a table and when looking at the menu we both thought it was a little pricey , hope the food is good. The food didn’t disappoint excellent presentation and quality , well worth it . "So glad we found this place to stay, great value. Our room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay, tea,coffee,bottled water and biscuits. Every member of staff we met was cheerful and friendly and service in restaurant and bar very efficient. Breakfast with choice days and there is a buffet at the weekend. Housekeeping was a bit lacking - our room was quite dusty on some surfaces and well handled parts of the joinery were noticeably dirty eg bathroom door frame. The hotel is right in the centre of everything and the village is incredibly charming. On the whole, we loved our stay."
