"Great little hotel very close to the geysirs . This hotel is associated with Hotel Geysir, which is where the restaurant for dinner and breakfast are located. "
"The rooms are clean etc. However, nobody tells you that check in is at the property across the street "The Hill", also the window curtains are very thin, so with now a lot of day light, not possible to get it dark in the bight in your room; the Wifi was broken, and there was no compensation for that."
"We had a wonderful few weeks traveling around Iceland. We stayed in many great places- but this was definitely not one of them. This extremely tiny unit had an uncomfortably small bathroom- the shower head was suspended from the ceiling and was a corner of the micro sized bathroom, a quarter sized bathroom sink was too small for even brushing teeth. This unit is suitable for one person, at best, and definitely was tight for a couple. It was also overpriced for what it was- I would not stay...
"We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! "

"We stayed in a one-bedroom cabin and absolutely loved it. The room was spotless and cozy, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a brand-new couch and flat-screen TV, both of which looked older in the photos, so the upgrade was a nice touch.
One of our favorite things was that the hot tub was always open. Sitting in it at 2 a.m. with nothing but quiet around was such a relaxing experience.
Although we didn’t eat at the restaurant, the menu looked excellent and we’d definitely consider it next time.
The highlight of our stay was the outstanding front desk staff, two incredibly friendly and helpful guys who went above and beyond. They even created a quiet space for me in the lobby to take a conference call, knowing we had kids with us and the cabin might get noisy. I think one of the guys names was Martin.
Highly recommend this place and would absolutly come back!"

"Amazing hotel. Walking distance to the Geysir Hot springs. Very well kept property. Room was huge. Customer service was as amazing. Staff was very pleasant to talk to.
We definitely will recommend this hotel to our friends and family. "
"We stayed in The Hatchery at Klettar, which appears to be one of a few guesthouses on the property. The location was peaceful, quiet, and absolutely beautiful. Once we had the directions from the host and used Google Maps, it was easy to find. The Hatchery is the furthest on the property, but there are signs to guide you! There were about six or so apartments in the Hatchery, each with designated parking and a shared sitting area that was cozy and welcoming.
Our studio was clean, nicely furnished, and well-equipped with a sink and stovetop — a great perk for travelers wanting to cook a meal or two, plus a little dining area with comfy chairs. The bed was comfortable but definitely smaller than the other double beds my wife and I shared at other rentals throughout our trip. More like a compact double bed, rather than an American queen. The bathroom was nice, though the shower door didn’t sit quite right and needed to be propped open due to a worn gasket.
One thing that caught us off guard was housekeeping — we hadn't requested it or been notified it would occur, but we came back one day to find fresh towels and emptied trash. Not a huge issue, just unexpected, especially since our earlier messages to the host asking about laundry options had gone unanswered.
Overall, it was a lovely place to stay and a great base for exploring the area. We'd definitely recommend it to travelers looking for something scenic and serene, with the added bonus of a small kitchen setup."
Wonderful and spacious cabin on the Golden Circle - HOT TUB & SAUNA
10/10 Excellent
"The location could not have been better. Great activities within a 20 minute drive, the hot tub worked great (didn't really try the sauna). Scenery was beautiful."
