  • Welcome to Bourbon in Bloom - Gentle Respite & Reprieve awaits you!

    This historic farmhome was built in 1910 & is on 2.6 acres of clear land, surrounded by rolling hills of agriculture. Formerly a blueberry farm & winery, it is located in the quiet countryside. It’s not uncommon to hear a rooster crow or a cow mooing. You may observe active farming in the adjacent fields, tractors plowing, & harvesting of crops during certain seasons.

    The evening sunset viewed from the posterior of the property is breathtaking, falling behind the silo & nearby barn. The night sky is filled with bright stars that are purely visible. The front porch swings are perfect for peaceful indulgence of coffee or a great book. The back screened-in porch can be utilized for socializing over a meal or cocktail, or playing a board game. The paver patio offers even more outdoor seating & boasts a grill ready to fire up!

    The location is central to multiple attractions - Kentucky Bourbon Trail, the City of Bardstown, Taylorsville Lake State Park, Bernheim Forest and Arboretum, & only 45 min via gorgeous backroads to Louisville, KY - home of the Kentucky Derby!

    Located in the beautiful & historic pasture & farmlands of Nelson County, Kentucky. Right outside of the small, artsy, & friendly town of Bloomfield.

We stayed at this beautiful house with friends. The home is absolutely gorgeous. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.We all spent time on the big front porch having coffee in the morning. Made breakfast together to share in the enormous dining table. Watched some late night college football after the bourbon festival The master bedroom with bathroom is amazing. Loved everything about this place

Truly one of the neatest places I’ve ever had stayed at. Great old house with little modern touches. Master bath is beautiful and the dual staircase is really neat. Take advantage of the 10 seat dining table to have a meal at. Only suggestion would to be add a couple more exterior lights to have when grilling at night. Just a really cool house.
