The Crooked Oak Lodge - Deep Creek Lake - Indoor Pool & Hot Tub

"Host was very prompt in answering all my questions. Our girls trip was so much fun! The home was just as it was described. Kitchen was well equipped and very spacious. Having 2 refrigerators, stoves and dishwashers was perfect for the amount of people staying! The game room was used a lot! We enjoyed sitting by the fire (firewood was supplied- but if you run out, could buy close by) - saw a double rainbow one evening! Perfect neighborhood for a walk. The gas fireplace in the living room wasn’t working one day- we called maintenance and had someone there within a half hour to fix it! Beds were comfortable. So nice having a bathroom in all the bedrooms. For the cool mornings, we sat on the covered porch and turned the gas fireplace on. Furniture was clean and comfortable- plenty of space to sit and watch tv or play board games. If we ever go back to Deep Creek, I’d definitely stay here again!"

"The house is absolutely beautiful!! We had a great time!! Communication was great. There was a problem with the HVAC ( things break!! It’s life) they accommodated us immediately with whatever we needed while they waited for parts to fix things!!! Very thankful for the quick responses and immediate attention to our needs!!Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need!!! Loved our stay!! "

"We had a very enjoyable week at the Maine Retreat. It comfortably hosted our family of five adults and two dogs. There was very little signs of pets having stayed there previously. The listing photos were accurate and the beds were very comfortable. We utilized the outdoor fire pit almost every night and the life jackets/canoe were a great bonus since the lake access was even more accessible than we thought it would be! The area is quiet and secluded, but still very close to all the Deep Creek Lake staples and state parks. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Nice little cabin. It is a little close to the road, so noise can be an issue but it wasn't bad considering one of the busiest weekends of the year. We had a couple of minor issues with burnt out bulbs, but they had a maintenance person there literally within 10-15 minutes. The cabin was nice and clean, the towels were huge and fluffy, the beds were almost too comfy (didn't want to get out of bed). The only suggestion I would have is instead of prepping the totes for the next guest right in front of the door, maybe put them in the little storage cottage that was locked. Having them by the front door kind of gave us a "GET OUT" vibe. The lake view is between other houses.I know it says it sleeps ten? That would be a very crowded cabin. We had 5, 2 adults, 3 kids (15,13,11) and 2 dogs. Everyone had there own bed (the dogs were crated). We did not use the fold out couches or spare twin beds."

"Once again, we enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. We had a lot of rain during our stay, but that was OK since we had the indoor pool. The kids loved it!! Anytime we had a minor issue we were able to communicate with the owner or designated staff to quickly address and rectify any issue. They were very accommodating!! We are already looking forward to our next stay at this beautiful house!"
