"Due to circumstances beyond the hosts control, some things didn't go as expected. On account of that, our host, Rex, went above and beyond anything we could have ever expected! Aside from a bumpy start, Rex's kindness was a key element in making this one of my best vacations ever. I'd brought my elderly parents with me on this trip and they were ready to cut the trip short and head home. Thanks to Rex, we were able to stay the duration of the 7 day reservation. He pointed us to some great spots to visit while we were there. The cabin we stayed in was amazing! Being from Texas, we loved the mountain views and cooler temperatures, even in the summer. The time I spent in Colorado made me with I lived there. We just had an amazing stay. Thank you very much Rex! Your awesome! I'm sure your daughter did amazing in her singing invitations!"

"This is a large home with plenty of space to gather together as a group or have space to spread out. The views from the deck and every window are gorgeous, showing off the beauty of the mountains in all directions. This is a peaceful mountain property with stores and restaurants within a half hour drive. We did a lot of exploring different areas of Colorado. The drives were anywhere from a half hour to hour and a half to areas like Boulder, Golden, Nederland, Mount Blue Sky, Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. Hiking can also be found closer to the house in Eldorado and the Flat Irons. The owner is easy to communicate with and offers to help out in any way. Overall a great experience!"

"Clean, updated cabin with the amenities you need and want. It's a nice location for a mountain getaway. We liked that it is next to the national forrest for hiking too. Great place for a couple or a small family."

"This place in the mountains was beyond perfect, it very much exceeded my expectations. Views were gorgeous, it was clean, comfortable beds, spacious, quiet, never ending hot water, and Matt was very responsive and made sure we were well taken care of. I honestly don’t have one negative thing to say. We enjoyed every minute of our trip."

"Lovely home with incredible views, conveniently located within 30-45 minutes of Boulder, Nederland, and Golden, CO. Lower level Casita/Granny flat/ game room with kitchenette was perfect for our family’s needs. Abuts the national forest with million dollar views. Highly recommend!"

"The cabin is an older building and thus has things that could be updated that would improve the quality of the stay. It was a little on the expensive side for what it was, but based on other places in the area, not out of line. It was well stocked and had everything we needed with the exception of meals. It was generally clean, but could have used a few finishing touches to make it more pleasant. The main complaint I had was the shower. It was EXTREMELY small and the floor of the shower was extremely slippery and I almost fell a number of times. In general, we had a pleasant stay but I think with a little TLC and at minimal cost, the cabin could be upgraded to make it a much nicer experience to stay there."

"If you want a luxury place to stay this isn't it. It is basic but everything I needed was in stock. I did have a problem with the door lock, so I contacted Rex. He was very hospitable and his handyman came over within an hour or so and replaced the lock with a new one. For me this is all about location, location and location. This was my 2nd stay and I will book again."
