"If you're staying in the mountains, the drive up is expected--this one up from Boulder is especially fun and spectacular--many places to pull off and hike and check out the vistas. Home easy to find. Very easy access. Love the "homey" touches; i.e. artwork, plant varieties, OODLES of books, lots of relaxing outdoor places to sit. Beds are comfortable. Jacuzzi and game room are bonuses. Enjoyed the pulldown screen with the projector. Lakefront is a bit of a misnomer--more like lake view--actually 'reservoir'view--but still beautiful. Host was incredible accessible and responsive via text."

"This is a large home with plenty of space to gather together as a group or have space to spread out. The views from the deck and every window are gorgeous, showing off the beauty of the mountains in all directions. This is a peaceful mountain property with stores and restaurants within a half hour drive. We did a lot of exploring different areas of Colorado. The drives were anywhere from a half hour to hour and a half to areas like Boulder, Golden, Nederland, Mount Blue Sky, Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. Hiking can also be found closer to the house in Eldorado and the Flat Irons. The owner is easy to communicate with and offers to help out in any way. Overall a great experience!"

"The cabin is an older building and thus has things that could be updated that would improve the quality of the stay. It was a little on the expensive side for what it was, but based on other places in the area, not out of line. It was well stocked and had everything we needed with the exception of meals. It was generally clean, but could have used a few finishing touches to make it more pleasant. The main complaint I had was the shower. It was EXTREMELY small and the floor of the shower was extremely slippery and I almost fell a number of times. In general, we had a pleasant stay but I think with a little TLC and at minimal cost, the cabin could be upgraded to make it a much nicer experience to stay there."

"I cannot convey how grateful I am to the team for offering such a wonderful place for me to stay.I had to leave and head to Boulder on very little notice with multiple pets.Rex was so accommodating and even started the air conditioning in the cabin for me since I was arriving quite late.Any time I had a question about anything he responded immediately.The cabin was very nice, and I greatly appreciated their team’ help and eliminating a huge amount of stress since I had come to Boulder on no notice to support a relative.Thank you Rex and the team for offering such wonderful service as well as a great place to stay!Laurie"
