"First, keep in mind: English speakers are rare in Recife. The hotel is decent but not exceptional; however, stained bed sheets were a letdown. Remember, in Brazil, toilet paper can't be flushed. Breakfast at the restaurant is average, but steer clear of the flavorless juices. Room service food was disappointing too! The grilled chicken was dry, making it hard to chew. It's unbelievable I paid over $20.00 US dollars for that! Also, they lack a serving cart, so they handed me the plate on a tray...
