Really nice lodge-like hotel right along the banks of the Columbia. Lovely rooms, excellent food at the on sitevrestaurant. Highly recommend for a sweet stay.

We love the cabins! So comfortable and so close to the Columbia River. Dog friendly! It's duck hunting season so it's not so quiet, along with the construction going on. I'll be back when those are not a factor.

The hotel is very well maintained, extremely clean and room large. I can’t remember if I requested a bigger room, but it had a ‘little living room’ in addition to the bed. (One big room) Request River side or second floor because of car’s parking in front of room. There is an on-site restaurant with a bar area. About .5 mile away is a pizza/craft beer place. Other than that, there are no walkable conveniences.

Stayed in one of the cabins, which are literally within a stone's throw of the river's edge. Very nice, very relaxing. Did not like the exorbitant pet fee of $20/night.

After a very long day, we got to the hotel for check-in to find they had reassigned one of our paid-for rooms to another guest. My (exhausted) 82 year old father had to wait over 30 minutes to get to his room, as they worked resolve the mix-up. I was told they would give me some compensation for bungled check-in, but I haven't heard from them.

Great place to stay
Nice place to stay -- quiet and peaceful, right on the river. Love the whole lodge decor, and all the Pendleton blankets. Would defintely stay here again. Disappointed that the hot tub was not usesble. Definitely eat at Two Barrels. So good!

The hotel was excellent, as was the check-in staff. The restaurant staff during breakfast would disappear for long periods resulting in me finishing breakfast with no coffee. Prior to disappearing, she stood talking to another table but never turned so I could get her attention to refill my coffee. Happened both mornings.

River lodge Boardman
The room was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable, however there was no handsoap in the bathroom and the food service in the restaurant was extremely slow It took over 2 hours to get our dinner and the baked potaoes were cold on the inside. The waitress was very apologetic and said the one cook they had was only 16. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel, and will likely be the last time

The smell off the water was bad. Our room was musty. The hot tub was not hot. Many bulbs out. Limited seating. Sadly was disappointed. However, the room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant service was good.

We know it is an older place and that is fine. But the shower curtain smelled bad and made it uncomfortable. The walls had coffee stains down them on the bathroom wall, bathroom could have been cleaned better. Other than that it was a nice place. Oh yeah we got sick on the salmon dinner and salad...
