Very peaceful and comfortable cottage

We very much enjoyed our stay at Paul and Rose’s cottage. The bikes were great, we were able to ride across the small lake to get ice cream one night, and the drive into the park-and-ride for Amsterdam was only about 35 minutes drive away. Rose thoughtfully checked in on us each day, and always asked if we needed more breakfast materials. She was a very gracious hostess. Highly recommend this property!

Such a welcoming couple who greeted us for our few days stay. We travelled on motorbikes and Paul and Rose couldn't have been more helpful. The studio was spacious and warm and a huge selection of items for breakfast were left for us. Location was perfect - out of town enough to enjoy the peaceful countryside (even though next to a farm) but close enough to pushbike or travel to visit somewhere. We would love to plan to return one day.

Wohlfühlen und genießen wie bei guten Freunden

Bereits die Anreise durch die Meije mit ihren kleinen Häusern, den Bauernhöfen und dem weitläufigen Ausblicken wirkte wie eine beruhigende Freiheit auf uns. Durch die sehr gute Beschreibung des Ferienhäuschens sowie der Parkmöglichkeit erreichten wir entspannt unser Ziel. Noch nie wurden wir so herzlich empfangen wie bei Rose und Paul. Es fühlte sich an, als würde man gute Freunde besuchen. Das Häuschen war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und man fand sich auf anhieb zurecht. Die kleine Terrasse, die einen Blick auf das weite grün der Landschaft bot, lud uns jeden Abend zum Verweilen ein. Da wir bereits vorab informiert waren, dass es keinen Herd, sondern lediglich einen Minibackofen gab, waren wir gut darauf vorbereitet. Für ein gutes Frühstück uns ein Abendbrot reicht dies allemal aus. Bei unserer Ankunft waren wir sehr dankbar darüber, dass unsere Gastgeber ein kleines Frühstücksangebot im Kühlschrank vorbereitet hatten, sodass wir nicht direkt einkaufen fahren mussten. Für einen ersten Überblick wurde auf dem Küchentisch ein Informationsangebot über die Gegend bereitgestellt. Ob Wandern, Entspannen oder kleine Kurzausflüge in Städte oder ans Meer; Rose und Paul hatten immer einen guten Hinweis oder Tipp für uns, den wir gerne annahmen. Ebenfalls genossen wir die Gespräche mit ihnen sehr. Wir haben dort eine wunderbare entspannende und interessante Zeit erlebt und können es nur empfehlen.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Es war ein toller erster Aufenthalt in den Niederlanden. Die Unterkunft war schön und sehr gepflegt. Rose und Paul sehr nett und immer bereit Tipps für Ausflüge zu geben. Eine fehlende Teekanne mitsamt Stövchen wurde uns aus dem persönlichen Service der Gastgeber gegeben. Also wir waren rundherum zufrieden.

Zentral aber mitten in der Natur

Hübsche Wohnung mitten in der Natur, aber alle großen Orte innerhalb einer Stunde erreichbar. Es war alles vorhanden dass man benötigt. Sehr schöne ländliche Lage und Rose hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns gute Tips gegeben. Vielen Dank!

Mutter-Tochter-Reise nach dem Abi

Wunderbare grüne Umgebung/ Natur pur zur Entspannung absolut empfehlenswert. Auch mit Fahrrad sehr gut zu fahren. Für Kultur und Einkaufen ist im Nahen Gouda einiges zu sehen. Zu beachten ist, dass bei viel Natur auch die kleinen Beißerchen Namens Mücken auf ihre Kosten kommen wollen. Also denkt an entsprechende Sprays oder Kühlgels.

Ruhe auf dem Land

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wetterabhängig haben wir mit unseren E-Bikes die Umgebung erkundet. Die Landschaft mit den vielen Kanälen und Seen, den Booten mit den schönen Häusern. Die großen Städte wie Amsterdam, Den Haag und Rotterdam sind mit dem Auto oder der Bahn gut erreichbar. An dem ein und anderen Regentag haben wir die nahe gelegenen Städtchen erkundet oder haben einfach nur in unserem Häuschen mit Buch und Kaffee verbracht. Unsere diekten Nachbarn waren 2 Ponies und ein Pferd. Die Eigentümer waren sehr bemüht dass es uns an nichts fehlt. Wir konnten auch immer nach Rat und Tat fragen. In der näheren Umgebung gab es genügend Restaurants und auch Supermärkte, immer in Fahrradnähe. Und gerade die Fahrradwege sind ein Traum. Durch die steile Treppe im Häuschen und den angrenzenden Wasserkanälen außen ist der Aufenthalt allerdings für Kleinkinder nicht geeignet. Uns hat es bei Rose und Paul gut gefallen. Wer weiß, vielleicht kommen wir mal wieder.

Grüne Oase

Wir haben die Unterkunft als Ersatz gebucht, nachdem die Vermieterin unserer ursprünglichen Unterkunft erkrankt ist. So Leid es mir für die ursprüngliche Vermieterin tut, für uns war die Erkrankung der absolute Glücksfall. In der Suite findet man alles was man zum Erholen benötigt. Schon allein der gefüllte Kühlschrank für das erste Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Rose und Paul sind sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Die Umgebung von Meije bietet viel und die großen Städte sind per Fahrrad gut zu erreichen. Wir vermissen bereits die Natur, die Pferde, die Kühe, Enten und das Quacken der Frösche. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Vielen lieben Dank für alles.

Wunderschöner Kurzulaub

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Rose und Paul. Wer Ruhe, Erholung und Natur sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das Häuschen ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Umgebung ist total schön, ob zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad oder Kanu, es gibt viel zu entdecken. Täglich grüßten die Kühe und Pferde auf ihrem Weg zur Weide. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ruhe und Erholung im "grünen Herzen" Südhollands sammeln

Die mit vielen liebevollen Details ausgestattete Wohnung, einem leckeren Frühstück und einem Ausblick ins Grüne sorgt für direkte Entspannung. Durch die Offenheit und Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber fühlt man sich wirklich willkommen und die Pferde, Kühe und Vögel, die einen jeden Morgen mit ihrer Anwesenheit begrüßen, machen den Aufenthalt in mitten der Natur besonders, erholsam und unvergesslich.

Entspanntes langes Wochenende

Ich konnte mit meiner Freundin ein paar entspannte Tage in Roses und Pauls Häuschen verbringen. Zum Frühstuck konnten wir den Ponys auf dem gegenüberliegenden Hof beim Spielen zusehen. Erwähnenswert ist auch die TOP Ausstattung des Hauses. Ob Ventilator oder Bügeleisen bis hin zu Insektekten abwehr Mitteln , war alles praktische vor Ort. Sogar Gesellschaftsspiele lagen bereit. Pleasant accommodations in a lovely rural setting

Great stay and wonderful experience near Bodegraven. Hosts we’re kind and welcoming and quickly attended to our questions. Setting is ideal with great hiking and biking close by. Bodegraven has a train station making further travels quite easy. Apartment was 30 mins drive to Kuekenhof Gardens. Very quiet at night making sleeping a pleasure. Parking on site. Highly recommend, particularly for couples. Exceeded expectations

Oase gefunden

Vielen lieben Dank an die Gastgeber, Rose und Paul, dass wir diese Oase der Ruhe uund Abgeschiedenheit genießen durften. Mit all den Tipps und Ratschlägen konnten wir in diesen Tagen viel erleben und viele Eindrücke mitnehmen; und jeden Abend kamen wir zurück in diese Oase. Die Städte Amsterdam, Delft, Gouda, Den Haag, Rotterdam etc sind alle etwa eine halbe Stunde entfernt; somit beste Lage. Die Oase ist ein tolles Apartment in dem es an Nichts fehlt: "Macht einfach alle Schubladen auf, ihr werdet finden was ihr sucht" Zitat Rose. Dem ist so. Es ist alles da und für alles andere sind Rose und Paul da. Wir danekn für die tolle Gastfreundschaft , die Aufmerksamkeit und die Freundlichkeit. Tolle Gastgeber, wir kommen gerne wieder. Si vous voulez passer un séjour au calme, tranquille, en toute simplicité et dans un beau cadre à la campagne, je vous recommande cet endroit ! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Liebevoll eingerichtetes B&B, Natur und viel Wasser

Es waren sehr angenehme und schöne 14 Tage in der Meije: ein liebevoll und schön, aber auch mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtetes Appartement. Rundherum viel Wasser und Wiesen. Wir haben die Mahlzeiten auf der kleinen Terrasse mit Blick ins Grüne genossen. Dort und beim Fahrrad- und Bootfahren in der Umgebung sind wir sehr zur Ruhe gekommen. In 30-60 Min. erreicht man mit dem Auto schöne Städte und Strände. Rose und Paul haben gerne Ausflugstipps gegeben und uns auf Nachfrage Holland erklärt. Das Frühstück war lecker, vielfältig und reichhaltig und sorgte für gute Tagesbeginne. Die Beiden sind herzliche und fröhliche Gastgeber.. Vielen Dank, Ihr Zwei.

Entspannung zwischen den Jahren

Wir haben zwischen den Jahren ein paar schöne, ruhige und entspannte Tage im B&B von Rose und Paul verbracht. Die beiden sind sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Wir haben uns in der liebevoll eingerichteten Suite wohl gefühlt und konnten die ruhige Umgebung sowie die schönen Städte in der Nähe genießen.
