"We had looked for to our Charleston trip for sometime since it was to celebrate our 53 anniversary. Unfortunately, our trip was interrupted by one of our dearest friend. Who was in ICU not expecting him to live. I tried to contact Hotels.com to cancel reservations on April 27th. I could not get on your website because you had an old email address that I hadn’t used in years. I then tried to find a telephone number but no luck. I called the Hotel directly but was told the reservation had to cancelled through Hotels. Com. So I called by credit card company to dispute the charge but see it’s on this month’s statement. I have attempted to contact y’all for weeks but haven’t heard from anyone yet. I know companies are trying to do everything over the internet but sometimes things fall through the cracks. HELP!!! "

"You are allowed to bring your pets as well. We did not however our neighbors did and we had to listen to continue barking, which made our trip extremely intense besides the neighbors. Everything was perfect. It seems our neighbors wanted to lock their three dogs outside in order to have peace and quiet themselves, but they disturbed everybody else in the building. However, the tides did refund all of our money and I’m sure Expedia will do the same I have dealt with both of them for years thank you again."

"The pool heater was broken. Water too cold for swimming. Coffee in room only made expresso. These two issues ruined my stay as I only book hotels with a pool and coffee. The coffee shop opened at 7am. I wake up at 5am. I really should have gotten a major discount. The hotel itself was fine. Good location. "

"Hotel old and in desperate need of update. Rooms were in a bit of disrepair Bed and pillows were comfy. Won’t be staying here again."

"Perfect spot downtown. Located by everything. Restaurants, bars, shops, the water, walkable area that is clean and beautiful. Room was awesome, dog friendly which is super important to us. Valet service was great and the staff were friendly for that. Nice sized bathroom. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Awesome hotel that is in a beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will go back to this hotel."
