"Had a great week in the superb Kettle Cottage, great location with open views to the sea - great sunsets. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bedroom had loads of space and bed very comfortable. Great walks from the cottage door or short drive away. All round great week and would hope to return "

"This was a return visit after a magical week here last year and it fully lived up to the rose-tinted memories. To wake up to sights of sea birds in the lock outside and take a short walk over the rocks before breakfast was perfect. The garden had been tidied up from last year and the internet was working too. The nearest village, a mile and a half away, with the co-op supplied all our needs again. This time we tried one of the boat trips the island offers (Lady Ann WIldlife cruises from the other Grimsay) allowed us to see seals and stags as well as many diving birds that stay off shore. The Benbecula distillery is now open and well worth a visit. When we had to contact the owner about a minor issue he responded in 20 minutes and sent his agent to visit within a few hours. We can't wait to return again. This is a lovely cottage and Benbecula and the Uists are an enchanting spot to visit. "

"The property is spacious, clean and warm. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and easy to use with plenty of hot water. The open plan kitchen and dining room are well equipped and an excellent meeting hub. Located near the ferry, fuel and shop this is well located for a North Uist holiday. "

"Lovely wee property in a great location for exploring Harris and all it has to offer. Spacious enough for the teenager and the pre-teen to be separated and mum and dad to have some space to chill out! Lovely wee beach just at the end of the road and the host also manage to provide lovely sunny weather for us!"

"The cottage was tidy and nicely set up. We were a bit surprised with the lack of wifi and that there was really only a tub with a sprayer and not an actual shower, but both were manageable. The beds were okay, plenty of warm duvets. The view is amazing, we loved sipping our coffee or a dram from the kitchen and front yard looking over the valley. "
