Wonderful hotel. Clean, large rooms, extremely helpful and kind staff available 24/7. You couldn't ask for a better location its an easy walk to either Centraal or the Rijksmuseum, wonderful location to stroll from for sightseeing or people watching. I saw that people had complained about noise but we didn't notice an issue and the hotel offered ear plugs in case. The wifi was reasonable and there is a great (but not included) breakfast in the hotel. If we return to amsterdam we will no question be staying here again, seriously could not recommend it enough.

The bed wasn't great but it was clean. The round carpet in the room was filthy. Location was perfect and the staff were very nice.

Room needed some personal touches to make it feel more homely. No artwork on walls.
Milk was not replenished daily so called to reception who explained that there would be a €12.50 charge to bring some to the room.

The esthetics of the hotel are fine, the room looked clean, it didn't smell to clean however it looks fine.
