"Easy to get to. Everything we needed. The heating isn't very good and when you have it on its loud. I wonder if panel heaters would be a better option. Great to see the double glazing going in."

"Don't be discouraged by the outside appearance of this gem of a place. As soon as you enter you are presented with a spacious, verging on opulent living space. Everything was as listed. Beautifully maintained and clean, we had a cosy couple of nights during some petty awful weather. Underfloor heating, comfortable beds, efficient heating was just what we needed.Only minute criticism was no coffee plunger but everything else was great. I have never seen so many towels in one cupboard and the library was interesting. An added bonus was waking up to the sound of tuis in the trees. Perfect location for places to eat, groceries and an ice cream on the beach. Transport links were a breeze.We chose this place as my son lives and works in Petone (Lighthouse Cinema - worth a visit) and was a pleasant change from staying in the city. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend this accommodation."
