"This house is truly a retreat: the location is probably the best vacation rental location in Thousand Oaks: quiet and very private, with beautiful natural light and views of the mountains. Once you’re there, it doesn’t feel like it’s in a residential neighborhood at all, but in the countryside on the edge of preserved open space.The house is comfortable, interestingly furnished, and the kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything one would need. Everything is so CLEAN!The secluded patio off of the living area is wonderful, the birds and squirrels love it too. The host, Daniel, is very responsive and helpful - Thank You Daniel! We will be back!"

Amazing Retreat with Unbelievable Views in Malibu

"Our family had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed this property. The location is fantastic, the views are absolutely breathtaking, and the house was stocked with more than enough supplies to make our stay comfortable.Since the home is surrounded by nature, it's understandable that we encountered a few spider webs and noticed some dust in certain areas. It didn't take away from our overall experience, but a little extra attention to those details would make the home even more welcoming.One suggestion would be to reduce some of the furniture and oversized decorative pillows in the bedrooms, especially in the room with the projector. It felt a bit crowded, and unfortunately we weren't able to use the projector because there was a large TV positioned in front of the projection area. The projector remote also appears to need fresh batteries and a little cleaning.Another small suggestion would be to consider adding curtains or blinds to the bedroom sliding doors. The morning sunlight comes in very early, making it difficult to sleep in. That said, we completely understand why the owners chose not to cover the windows—the views are truly extraordinary and one of the best features of the property.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this home to others looking for a peaceful getaway with incredible scenery."

"This home was perfect for my family reunion. It was a great space and had just the right number of beds for all of us. The beds were super comfortable and everyone slept well! The pool, hot tub and outdoor spaces were amazing. My only concerns were: there was no hand soap in 2 of the bathrooms, and no communication regarding some key things like the stove that you need to light with a lighter, the dishwasher that didn’t work, WiFi password and check-out procedures. There are no curtains in the room that faces the street. One of the rooms is kind of a pass through connected to another room, but there is no privacy in it or the room it is connected to, due to no curtains on the glass doors. It seems like this is a new rental, so hopefully these are just small kinks to be worked out. Overall this is a great house in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of the nearby mountains, and I’d definitely recommend it."
